A Layer Cake is a stack of 10″ squares of quilt fabric! It makes cutting out quilt pieces so much easier! You can make a quick quilt using a Layer Cake than if you were cutting one of scrappy fabrics and/or out of fabric yardage! It does not take much fabric to make a Layer Cake quilt!
