Dutch Quilt Block

Cutting Requirements for 12″ finished block (scant 1/4″ seam allowance):

Red: Cut ONE (1) 5 1/4″ square. Then cut the square diagonally, corner-to-corner, TWO (2) times. Will yield FOUR (4) triangles. (These triangles are flanked by the results of the White 2 7/8″ squares, which will create FOUR (4) Flying Geese, as needed to sew this quilt block together.)
Navy Blue: Cut TWO (2) 5 1/4″ squares. Then cut the squares diagonally, corner-to-corner, TWO (2) times. Will yield FOUR (4) triangles per square. (These triangles are flanked by the results of the White 2 7/8″ squares which will create EIGHT (8) Flying Geese. FOUR (4) of these Flying Geese are the center of this quilt block as needed to sew this quilt block together.)
White: Cut FOUR (4) 2 7/8″ squares. Then cut the squares diagonally, corner-to-corner, ONE (1) time. Will yield TWO (2) triangles per square. (These triangles will flank the results of the Red 5 1/4″ square, which will create FOUR (4) Flying Geese, as needed to sew this quilt block together.)
White: Cut EIGHT (8) 2 7/8″ squares. Then cut the squares diagonally, corner-to-corner, ONE (1) time. Will yield TWO (2) triangles per square. (These triangles will flank the Navy Blue 5 1/4″ squares which will create EIGHT (8) Flying Geese. FOUR (4) of these Flying Geese are the center of this quilt block as needed to sew this quilt block together.)
White: Cut FOUR (4) 2 1/2″ x 6 1/2″ rectangles. (These are the FOUR (4) corners of this quilt block.)

Cutting Requirements for 12″ finished block (scant 1/4″ seam allowance):

Yellow: Cut FOUR (4) 2 1/2″ squares. (These are paired with the Red 2 1/2″ squares. They’re also paired with the Red 2 1/2″ x 4 1/2″ rectangles. All sewn together they’ll create the FOUR (4) corners of this quilt block.)
Yellow: Cut ONE (1) 5 1/4″ square. Then cut the square diagonally, corner-to-corner, TWO (2) times. Will yield FOUR (4) triangles. (These triangles are paired with the results of the Red
5 1/4″ square. They’re also paired with the results of the White 5 1/4″ squares. All sewn together they’ll create FOUR (4) Quarter-Square Triangles as needed to sew this quilt block together.)

Gold: Cut TWO (2) 2″ squares. (These are paired with the Silver 2″ squares which will create ONE (1) Four-Patch in the center of this quilt block. They’ll be flanked by the results of the White 4 1/4″ square, which will create ONE (1) Square in a Square, as needed to sew this quilt block together.)
Gold: Cut FOUR (4) 2 5/8″ squares. (These are paired with the results of the Gold 4 1/4″ squares. Then they’ll flank the results of the White 7 1/4″ square, which will create half of a Flying Geese, as needed to sew this quilt block together.)
Gold: Cut ONE (1) 4 1/4″ square. Then cut the square diagonally, corner-to-corner, TWO (2) times. Will yield FOUR (4) triangles. (These triangles are paired with the Gold 2 5/8″ squares.
