Cutting Requirements for 12″ finished block (scant 1/4″ seam allowance):
- Lt. Pink: Cut EIGHT (8) 2″ squares. (These are paired with the Pink 2″ squares, which will create FOUR (4) Four-Patches, as needed to sew this quilt block together.)
- Pink: Cut EIGHT (8) 2″ squares. (These are paired with the Lt. Pink 2″ squares, which will create FOUR (4) Four-Patches, as needed to sew this quilt block together.)
- Pink: Cut FOUR (4) 2″ squares. (These are the FOUR (4) corners of this quilt block. They’re paired with the Red/White Half-Square Triangles as needed to sew this quilt block together.)
- Red: Cut FOUR (4) 2 3/8″ squares. (These are paired with the White 2 3/8″ squares which will create EIGHT (8) Half-Square Triangles. They’re paired with the Pink 2″ squares as needed to sew this quilt block together.)
- Red: Cut ONE (1) 3 1/2″ square. (This is the center of this quilt block. It’s paired with the White 3 1/2″ x 5″ rectangles as needed to sew it together.)
- White: Cut EIGHT (8) 2″ squares. (These are paired with the Pink 2″ squares in the corners of this quilt block as needed to sew it together.)
- White: Cut FOUR (4) 2 3/8″ squares. On the back side of the squares draw a diagonal line, corner-to-corner, ONE (1) time. (These are paired with the Red 2 3/8″ squares which will create EIGHT (8) Half-Square Triangles. They’re paired with the Pink 2″ squares as needed to sew this quilt block together.)
- White: Cut FOUR (4) 3 1/2″ x 5″ rectangles. (These are paired with the Red 3 1/2″ square in the center of this quilt block as needed to sew it together.)
