**Cutting Requirements for 12″ finished block** (scant 1/4″ seam allowance):

**Navy Blue:**Cut TWO (2) 5 1/4″ squares. Then cut the squares diagonally, corner-to-corner, TWO (2) times. You will end up with FOUR (4) triangles per square. You only need SIX (6) of these triangles for this quilt block. (FOUR (4) of these are paired with the results of the White

5 1/4″ squares & the results of the Green 5 1/4″ squares. Which will create TWO (2) Quarter-Square Triangles for this quilt block. The other TWO (2) are paired with the results of the White 5 1/4″ squares. Which will create TWO (2) Quarter-Square Triangles for this quilt block.)**Green:**Cut FOUR (4) 4 1/2″ squares. (These will be the FOUR (4) corner’s of this quilt block.)**Green:**Cut ONE (1) 5 1/4″ square. Then cut the square diagonally, corner-to-corner, TWO (2) times. You will end up with FOUR (4) triangles. (TWO (2) of these are paired with the results of the White 5 1/4″ squares & the results of the Green 5 1/4″ squares. Which will create TWO (2) Quarter-Square Triangles for this quilt block. The other TWO (2) are paired with the results of the White 5 1/4″ squares which will create ONE (1) Quarter-Square Triangle. It’ll also be the center of this quilt block.)**White:**Cut THREE (3) 5 1/4″ squares. Then cut the squares diagonally, corner-to-corner, TWO (2) times. You will end up with FOUR (4) triangles per square. You only need EIGHT (8) of these triangles for this quilt block. (FOUR (4) of these are paired with the results of the the Navy Blue 5 1/4″ squares which will create TWO (2) Quarter-Square Triangles. TWO (2) of these will be paired with the results of the Green 5 1/4″ squares which will create ONE (1) Quarter-Square Triangle. The remaining TWO (2) will be paired with the the results of the Navy Blue 5 1/4″ squares & the results of the Green 5 1/4″ squares. Which will create TWO (2) more Quarter-Square Triangles for this quilt block.)

(These are paired with the White 5″ squares, which will create FOUR (4) Half-Square Triangles. They’ll also be the FOUR (4) corner’s of this quilt block.)**Purple:**Cut TWO (2) 5 1/4″ squares. Then cut the squares diagonally, corner-to-corner, TWO (2) times. You will end up with FOUR (4) triangles per square. (SIX (6) of these are paired with the results of the Aqua 5 1/4″ squares & with the results of the White 5 1/4″ squares. Which will create FOUR (4) Square in a Square’s.
