Cutting Requirements for 12″ finished block (scant 1/4″ seam allowance):
- Yellow: Cut EIGHT (8) 2″ squares. (These are paired with the results of the White 2 3/8″ squares. They’re also paired with the results of the Yellow 3 7/8″ squares.)
- Yellow: Cut FOUR (4) 3 7/8″ squares. Then cut the squares diagonally, corner-to-corner, ONE (1) time. Will yield TWO (2) triangles per square. (These are paired with the results of the White 2 3/8″ squares. They’re also paired with the results of the White 2″ squares.)
- White: Cut FOUR (4) 3 1/2″ squares. (TWO (2) of these are the upper left-hand & the lower right-hand corners of this quilt block. The remaining TWO (2) are paired with the results of the Yellow 3 7/8″ squares.)
- White: Cut EIGHT (8) 2 3/8″ squares. Then cut the squares diagonally, corner-to-corner, TWO (2) times. Will yield FOUR (4) triangles per square. (These are paired with the Yellow 2″ squares. The they’re paired with the results of the Yellow 3 7/8″ squares.)
