Road to Oklahoma Quilt Block
Cutting Requirements for 12″ finished block (scant 1/4″ seam allowance):
- Blue: Cut TWO (2) 3 1/2″ squares. (These are the upper left-hand & the lower right-hand corners of this quilt block.)
- Blue: Cut TWO (2) 3 1/2″ squares. (These are paired with the White 2 1/2″ squares which will create ONE (1) Four-Patch. When sewn together they’ll create the center of this quilt block as needed to sew it together.)
- Blue: Cut TWO (2) 3 7/8″ squares. (These are paired with the White 2 7/8″ squares, which will create FOUR (4) Half-Square Triangles, as needed to sew this quilt block together.)
- White: Cut TWO (2) 3 1/2″ squares. (These are the upper right-hand & the lower left-hand corners of this quilt block.)
- White: Cut TWO (2) 3 1/2″ squares. (These are paired with the Blue 2 1/2″ squares which will create ONE (1) Four-Patch. When sewn together they’ll create the center of this quilt block as needed to sew it together.)
- White: Cut TWO (2) 3 7/8″ squares. On the back side of the squares draw a diagonal line, corner-to-corner, ONE (1) time. (These are paired with the Blue 2 7/8″ squares, which will create FOUR (4) Half-Square Triangles, as needed to sew this quilt block together.)
