Cutting Requirements for 12″ finished block (scant 1/4″ seam allowance):

  • Lt. Pink: Cut FOUR (4) 2 5/8″ squares. (These squares are paired with the results of the Bright Pink 4 1/4″ squares as needed to sew this quilt block together.)
  • Lt. Pink: Cut ONE (1) 4 1/4″ square. Then cut the square diagonally, corner-to-corner, TWO (2) times. You’ll end up with FOUR (4) triangles. (These triangles are paired with the results of the Bright Pink 4 1/4″ squares & they’re also paired with the results of the Bright Pink 3 7/8″ squares. All are needed to sew this quilt block together.)
  • Bright Pink: Cut TWO (2) 4 1/4″ squares. Then cut the squares diagonally, corner-to-corner, TWO (2) times. You’ll end up with FOUR (4) triangles per square. (These triangles will flank the White 3 1/2″ corner squares. They’re also paired with the Lt. Pink 2 5/8″ squares & they’re paired with the results of the Lt. Pink 4 1/4″ square. All are needed to sew this quilt block together.)
  • Bright Pink: Cut ONE (1) 4 1/4″ square. Then cut the square diagonally, corner-to-corner, TWO (2) times. You’ll end up with FOUR (4) triangles. (These triangles are paired with the Lt. Pink 2 5/8″ squares. They’re also paired with the results of the Bright Pink 3 7/8″ squares. They’ll also help create the center of this quilt block when it’s sewn together.)
  • Bright Pink: Cut TWO (2) 3 7/8″ squares. Then cut the squares diagonally, corner-to-corner, ONE (1) time. You’ll end up with TWO (2) triangles per square. (These triangles are paired with the Lt.   • White: Cut ONE (1) 7 1/4″ square. Then cut the square diagonally, corner-to-corner, TWO (2) times. You’ll end up with FOUR (4) triangles. (These are flanked by the results of the Bright Pink 4 1/4″ squares. They’re also flanked by the results of the Lt. Pink 4 1/4″ square. In addition they’re flanked by the Lt. Pink 2 3/8″ squares. All are needed to sew this quilt block together.)
  • White: Cut FOUR (4) 3 1/2″ squares. (These are the FOUR (4) corners of this quilt block. They’re flanked by the results of the Bright Pink 4 1/4″ squares.)

Cutting Requirements for 12″ finished block (scant 1/4″ seam allowance):

  • Blue: Cut TWO (2) 3 1/4″ squares. (These are paired with the Red/White Half-Square Triangles to create the center of this quilt block.)
  • Red: Cut ONE (1) 3 7/8″ square. (This is paired with the White 3 7/8″ square which will create TWO (2) Half-Square Triangles. They’re paired with the Blue 3 1/2″ squares to create the center of this quilt block.)
  • Red: Cut TWO (2) 3 7/8″ squares. (These are paired with the White 3 7/8″ squares which will create FOUR (4) Half-Square Triangles. They’ll also be the FOUR (4) corners of this quilt block.)
  • Red: Cut FOUR (4) 3 7/8″ squares. Then cut the squares diagonally, corner-to-corner, ONE (1) time. You’ll end up with TWO (2) triangles per square. (These will flank the results of the White 7 1/4″ square, which will create FOUR (4) Flying Geese, as needed to sew this quilt block together.)

Cutting Requirements for 12″ finished block (scant 1/4″ seam allowance):

  • Dk. Purple: Cut FOUR (4) 2 3/8″ squares. On the back side of the squares draw a diagonal line, corner-to-corner, ONE (1) time. (These are paired with the White 3 1/2″ squares, which will create EIGHT (8) Snowball Corners, once they’re all sewn together.)
  • Purple: Cut ONE (1) 3 1/2″ square. (This is the center of this quilt block.)
  • Purple: Cut EIGHT (8) 2″ squares. (These are sewn together with the Purple/White Half-Square Triangles & the White 2″ squares. When all are sewn together they’ll create the FOUR (4) corners of this quilt block.)
  • Purple: Cut FOUR (4) 2 3/8″ squares. (These are paired with the White 2 3/8″ squares which will create EIGHT (8) Half-Square Triangles. When sewn together with the Purple 2″ squares & the White 2″ squares they’ll create the FOUR (4) corners of this quilt block.)
  • Purple: Cut TWO (2) 2 3/8″ squares. (These are paired with the White 2 3/8″ squares which will create FOUR (4) Half-Square Triangles. They’re then sewn together with the White 2″ squares & with the Purple 3 1/2″ square. When sewn all together they’ll create the center of this quilt block.)

  • White: Cut TWO (2) 2 3/8″ squares. On the back side of the squares draw a diagonal line, corner-to-corner, ONE (1) time. (These are paired with the Purple 2 3/8″ squares which will create FOUR (4) Half-Square Triangles. When sewn together with the Purple 2″ squares & the White 2″ squares they’ll create the FOUR (4) corners of this quilt block.)
  • White: Cut TWO (2) 2 3/8″ squares. On the back side of the squares draw a diagonal line, corner-to-corner, ONE (1) time.   • Lt. Blue: Cut FOUR (4) 2 3/8″ squares. (These are paired with the White 2 3/8″ squares which will create EIGHT (8) Half-Square Triangles. They’re then sewn together with the White 2″ squares & with the Dk. Blue/White Half-Square Triangles. When sewn all together they’ll create the center of this quilt block.)
  • White: Cut FOUR (4) 2″ squares. (These are sewn together with the Dk. Blue/White Half-Square Triangles & the Lt. Blue 2″ squares which will create the FOUR (4) corners of this quilt block.)
  • White: Cut FOUR (4) 2″ squares. (These are sewn to each other & then to the Dk. Blue/White Half-Square Triangles & the Lt. Blue 2″ squares. When all sewn together they’ll create the center of this quilt block.)
  • White: Cut TWO (2) 2 3/8″ squares. On the back side of the squares draw a diagonal line, corner-to-corner, ONE (1) time. (These are paired with the Lt. Blue 2 3/8″ squares which will create FOUR (4) Half-Square Triangles. When sewn together with the Lt. Blue 2″ squares & the White 2″ squares they’ll create the FOUR (4) corners of this quilt block.)
  • White: Cut FOUR (4) 2 3/8″ squares. On the back side of the squares draw a diagonal line, corner-to-corner, ONE (1) time. (These are paired with the Dk. Blue 2 3/8″ squares which will create EIGHT (8) Half-Square Triangles. They’re then sewn together with the White 2″ squares & with the Lt. Blue 2″ squares. When all are sewn together they’ll create the center of this quilt block.)

Cutting Requirements for 12″ finished block (scant 1/4″ seam allowance):

  • Blue: Cut FOUR (4) 2″ squares. (These are the FOUR (4) corners of this quilt block.)
  • Blue: Cut FOUR (4) 2 5/8″ squares. (These are flanked by the results of the White 2 5/8″ squares which will create FOUR (4) Square in a Squares, as needed for this quilt block.)
  • Blue: Cut FIVE (5) 3 1/2″ squares. (ONE (1) of these is the center of this quilt block. They’re all paired with the Square in a Squares as needed for this quilt block.)
  • Blue: Cut FOUR (4) 2″ x 3 1/2″ rectangles. (These are paired with the Flying Geese on TWO (2) sides as needed for this quilt block.)
  • Blue: Cut TWO (2) 4 1/4″ squares. Then cut the squares diagonally, corner-to-corner, TWO (2) times. You’ll end up with FOUR (4) triangles per square. (These are flanked by the results of the White 2 3/8″ squares, which will create EIGHT (8) Flying Geese, as needed for this quilt block.)
  • White: Cut EIGHT (8) 2 5/8″ squares. Then cut the squares diagonally, corner-to-corner, ONE (1) time. You’ll end up with TWO (2) triangles per square. (These will flank the Lilac 2 5/8″ squares, which will create FOUR (4) Square in a Squares, as needed for this quilt block.)
