Quilt Dash is all about “Smile & Wave” this Month!

Quilt Therapy Posted on August 19, 2021 by TK HarrisonAugust 19, 2021

The inspiration for this quilt comes from the Penguins in the original Madagascar movie!

When the penguins are sitting on the bench in Times Square, the police start moving in, to try to capture the escaped zoo animals. Rico is the leader of the Penguins. He tells his two friends to, “Smile & Wave” so they don’t look too conspicuous.

In other words: If you’re confronted with anything that’s not to your liking, all you need to do is “Smile & Wave” it away! The Penguins from the original movie "Madagascar"!

"Smile & Wave" Quilt is a Free Pattern Designed by TK Harrison for members of Quilt Dash!“Smile & Wave”
Designed by TK Harrison (that’s me 🙂 )!
This traditionally pieced quilt measures 67″ x 79” when finished.
The quilt blocks are 12” finished & 12 1/2” unfinished.

There are only TWO (2) blocks in this quilt if you make it as shown. Although you can make it larger or smaller depending on your preference.
