Galaxy Star Quilt Block

Cutting Requirements for 12â€³ finished block (scant 1/4â€³ seam allowance):

Yellow: Cut TWO (2) 3″ squares. (These make up the center of this quilt block. They are flanked on TWO (2) sides by the results the Aqua 4 3/8″ square. They are flanked on TWO (2) other sides by the results of the Aqua 3 3/4″ squares.)
Yellow: Cut FOUR (4) 3 3/4″ squares. (These are paired with the results of the White
6 3/8″ squares.)
Aqua: Cut ONE (1) 4 3/8″ square. Then cut the square diagonally, corner-to-corner, TWO (2) times. Will yield FOUR (4) triangles. (These triangles will flank TWO (2) sides of the Yellow 3″ squares & will help create the center of this quilt block.)
Aqua: Cut ONE (1) 4 3/8″ square. Then cut the square diagonally, corner-to-corner, TWO (2) times. Will yield FOUR (4) triangles. (These triangles will flank the results of the Jade 3 3/4″ squares which will create TWO (2) Flying Geese.)
Aqua: Cut TWO (2) 3 3/4″ squares. Then cut the squares diagonally, corner-to-corner, ONE (1) time. Will yield TWO (2) triangles per square. (These triangles are flanked by the results of the Jade 4 3/8″ square which will create TWO (2) Flying Geese.)
Aqua: Cut FOUR (4) 2 3/8″ x 3 3/8″ rectangles. (These are paired on ONE (1) side with the Aqua/Jade Flying Geese. They are also paired on ONE (1) other side with the Jade/Aqua Flying Geese.)
Jade: Cut ONE (1) 4 3/8″ square. Then cut the square diagonally, corner-to-corner, TWO (2) times. Will yield FOUR (4) triangles. (These triangles are paired with TWO (2) sides of the White 3″ squares. Which will help create the upper left-hand & the lower right-hand corners of this quilt block.)
Jade: Cut ONE (1) 4 3/8″ square. Then cut the square diagonally, corner-to-corner, TWO (2) times. Will yield FOUR (4) triangles. (These triangles will flank the results of the Teal 3 3/4″ squares which will create TWO (2) Flying Geese.)
Jade: Cut TWO (2) 3 3/4″ squares. Then cut the squares diagonally, corner-to-corner, ONE (1) time. Will yield TWO (2) triangles per square. (These triangles are flanked by the results of the Aqua 4 3/8″ square which will create TWO (2) Flying Geese.)
Jade: Cut FOUR (4) 2 3/8″ x 3 3/8″ rectangles. (These are paired on ONE (1) side with the Aqua/Jade Flying Geese. They are also paired on ONE (1) other side with the Jade/Aqua Flying Geese.)
White: Cut TWO (2) 3″ squares. (These are the upper left-hand & the lower right-hand corners of this quilt block. They are paired with the results of the Jade 4 3/8″ square.)
White: Cut TWO (2) 6 3/8″ squares. Then cut the squares diagonally, corner-to-corner, TWO (2) times. Will yield FOUR (4) triangles per square. (These triangles are paired with the Yellow 3″ squares.)

Cutting Requirements for 12â€³ finished block (scant 1/4â€³ seam allowance):Quilt Block:

Mellow Yellow: Cut TWO (2) 4 1/2″ squares. On the back side of the squares draw a diagonal line, corner-to-corner, ONE (1) time. (These are paired with the Yellow 4 1/2″ squares which will create FOUR (4) Half-Square Triangles.)
Yellow: Cut TWO (2) 3″ squares. (These make up the center of this quilt block. They are flanked on TWO (2) sides by the results the Aqua 4 3/8″ square. They are flanked on TWO (2) other sides by the results of the Aqua 3 3/4″ squares.)
Yellow: Cut FOUR (4) 3 3/4″ squares. (These are paired with the results of the White

Pumpkin Quilt Block

Cutting Requirements for 12″ finished block (scant 1/4″ seam allowance):

Green: Cut ONE 2 3/4″ square. (This is paired with the White 2 3/4″ square which will create TWO (2) Half-Square Triangles. Only ONE (1) of these Half-Square Triangles is needed for this quilt block. Once it is sewn together it is paired with the Green 2″ x 2 1/2″ rectangle. Then it is paired with the White 2″ square which will create the “stem” of the Pumpkin.)
Green: Cut ONE (1) 2″ x 2 1/2″ rectangle. (This is paired with the Green/White Half-Square Triangle & will help create the “stem” of the pumpkin.)
Orange: Cut ONE (1) 8 1/2″ x 12 1/2″ rectangle. (This is the body of the pumpkin. It’s paired with the White 3 3/4″ square. It is also paired with the White 4 1/4″ square. Once it is all sewn together it will create FOUR (4) Snowball Corners.)
White: Cut ONE (1) 2 3/4″ square. On the back side of the squares draw a diagonal line, corner-to-corner, ONE (1) time. (This is paired with the Green 2 3/4″ square which will create TWO (2) Half-Square Triangles. Only ONE (1) of these Half-Square Triangles is needed for this quilt block. Once it is sewn together it is paired with the Green 2″ x 2 1/2″ rectangle. Then it is paired with the White 2″ square which will create the “stem” of the Pumpkin.)
White: Cut ONE (1) 2″ square. (This is paired with the Green/White Half-Square Triangle. Once it is sewn together it will help create the “stem” of the pumpkin.)
White: Cut TWO (2) 3 3/4″ squares. On the back side of the squares draw a diagonal line, corner-to-corner, ONE (1) time. (These are paired with the Orange 8 1/2″ x 12 1/2″ rectangle. Once they are sewn together they will create TWO (2) Snowball Corners.)
White: Cut TWO (2) 4 1/4″ squares. On the back side of the squares draw a diagonal line, corner-to-corner, ONE (1) time. (These are paired with the Orange 8 1/2″ x 12 1/2″ rectangle. Once they are sewn together they will create TWO (2) Snowball Corners. They will also be the lower left-hand & the lower right-hand corners of this quilt block.)
White: Cut TWO (2) 4 1/2″ x 6 1/2″ rectangles. (These are paired with the “stem” of the pumpkin. They are also the upper left-hand & the upper right-hand corners of this quilt block.)
