Cutting Requirements for 12″ finished block (scant 1/4″ seam allowance):
- Blue: Cut FOUR (4) 3 7/8″ squares. On the back side of the squares draw a diagonal line, corner-to-corner, ONE (1) time. (These are paired with the Blue 3 7/8″ squares which will create FOUR (4) Snowball Corners. They will also be in the center of this quilt block.)
- Blue: Cut FOUR (4) 3 7/8″ squares. (These are paired with the Blue 3 7/8″ squares which will create FOUR (4) Snowball Corners, It is also the center of this quilt block.
- Gray: Cut ONE (1) 3 7/8″ square. (This is the center of this quilt block. It is paired with the Blue 3 7/8″ squares.)
- Gray: Cut TWO (2) 6 3/8″ squares. Then cut the squares diagonally, corner-to-corner, TWO (2) times. Will yield FOUR (4) triangles per square. (These triangles will create a “frame” around the center of this quilt block.)
- White: Cut TWO (2) 5 3/4″ squares. (These triangles are the FOUR (4) corners of this quilt block. They’re paired with the results of the Gray 6 3/8″ squares.)
- White: Cut TWO (2) 6 3/8″ squares. Then cut the squares diagonally, corner-to-corner, TWO (2) times. Will yield FOUR (4) triangles per square. (These triangles are paired with the Blue 3 7/8″ squares. Once they are sewn together with the Gray 3 7/8″ square they will create the center of this quilt block.)

Sew TWELVE (12) “Precision Quilt Blocks” to end up with the quilt top pictured above. The size will be 36″ x 48″ finished & 36 1/2″ x 48 1/2″ unfinished.
