Tantalizing Tuesday! The Country Quilters Quilt Guild sewed my “Quilted Kitchen Sampler” BOM Quilt Together!

Quilt Therapy Posted on April 29, 2025 by TK HarrisonApril 28, 2025

Country Quilters Quilt Guild began in 1985 with eight members. We started 2024 with 126 members, but have already had several new members join since the beginning of the year. We meet monthly, and usually have a speaker or skill building demos, provided by our members. We donate quilts of various sizes to six different organizations local to Topeka, Kansas, USA.

At each meeting we encourage participation in donating quilts. We also ask our members to bring show and tell items to share. This provides creative ideas, and helps get us all excited about quilting of all kinds. We maintain a library of quilting books that members can check out for reference. We also have a “second chance” table at meetings. Members bring quilting fabric, notions, or patterns that they no longer need and members can “purchase” those items by free will offering.
