Grannie’s Gift Quilt Block

Cutting Requirements for 12″ finished block (scant 1/4″ seam allowance):

• Lime Green: Cut ONE (1) 4 7/8″ square. (This is paired with the White 4 7/8″ square which will create TWO (2) Half-Square Triangles. They’ll also help create the center of this quilt block.)
• Lime Green: Cut ONE (1) 5 1/4″ square. Then cut the square diagonally, corner-to-corner, TWO (2)times. You’ll end up with FOUR (4) triangles. (These are paired with the results of the White 5 1/4″ square & together they’ll be the FOUR (4) corners of this quilt block.)
• Dk. Green: Cut ONE (1) 4 7/8″ square. (This is paired with the White 4 7/8″ square which will create TWO (2) Half-Square Triangles. They’ll also help create the center of this quilt block.)
• Dk. Green: Cut TWO (2) 5 1/4″ squares. Then cut the squares diagonally, corner-to-corner, TWO (2)times. You’ll end up with FOUR (4) triangles per square. (These are paired with the results of the White 5 1/4″ squares as needed for this quilt block.)
• White: Cut ONE (1) 4 7/8″ square. On the back side of the squares draw a diagonal line, corner-to-corner, ONE (1) time. (This is paired with the Lime Green 4 7/8″ square which will create TWO (2) Half-Square Triangles. They’ll also help create the center of this quilt block.)
• White: Cut ONE (1) 4 7/8″ square. On the back side of the squares draw a diagonal line, corner-to-corner, ONE (1) time. (This is paired with the Dk. Green 4 7/8″ square which will create TWO (2) Half-Square Triangles. They’ll also help create the center of this quilt block.)
• White: Cut ONE (1) 5 1/4″ square. Then cut the square diagonally, corner-to-corner, TWO (2) times. You’ll end up with FOUR (4) triangles. (These are paired with the results of the Lime Green 5 1/4″ square & together they’ll be the FOUR (4) corners of this quilt block.)
• White: Cut ONE (1) 5 1/4″ square. Then cut the square diagonally, corner-to-corner, TWO (2) times. You’ll end up with FOUR (4) triangles. (These are paired with the Dk. Green 5 1/4″ squares as needed for this quilt block.)
