Cutting Requirements for 12″ finished block (scant 1/4″ seam allowance):
- Mint Green: Cut FOUR (4) 3 7/8″ squares. Then cut the squares diagonally, corner-to-corner, ONE (1) time. You will end up with TWO (2) triangles per square. (These will flank the White 4 3/4″ squares. Which will create TWO (2) Square in a Squares.)
- Mint Green: Cut ONE (1) 7 1/4″ square. Then cut the square diagonally, corner-to-corner, TWO (2) times. You will end up with FOUR (4) triangles. (These will be flanked by the White
3 7/8″ squares. Which will create FOUR (4) Flying Geese.) - White: Cut TWO (2) 4 3/4″ squares. (These will be flanked by the results of the Mint Green
3 7/8″ squares. Which will create TWO (2) Square in a Squares.) - White: Cut FOUR (4) 3 7/8″ squares. Then cut the squares diagonally, corner-to-corner, ONE (1) time. You will end up with TWO (2) triangles per square. (These will flank the results of the Mint Green 7 1/4″ square. Which will create FOUR (4) Flying Geese.)
