Cutting Requirements for 12″ finished block (scant 1/4″ seam allowance):

  • Purple: Cut EIGHT (8) 2 1/2″ squares. (These are paired with the Blue 2 1/2″ squares, which will create THREE (3) Four-Patch squares, as needed for this quilt block.)
  • Blue: Cut EIGHT (8) 2 1/2″ squares. (These are paired with the Purple 2 1/2″ squares, which will create THREE (3) Four-Patch squares, as needed for this quilt block.)
  • Blue: Cut TWO (2) 4 1/2″ squares. (These are the upper left-hand & the lower right-hand corner’s of this quilt block.)
  • Blue: Cut TWO (2) 4 7/8″ squares. (These are paired with the White 4 7/8″ squares, which will create FOUR (4) Half-Square Triangles, as needed for this quilt block.)
  • White: Cut TWO (2) 4 7/8″ squares. On the back side the square draw a diagonal line, corner-to-corner, ONE (1) time. (These are paired with the Blue 4 7/8″ squares, which will create FOUR (4) Half-Square Triangles, as needed for this quilt block.)

Cutting Requirements for 12″ finished block (scant 1/4″ seam allowance):

  • Light Pink: Cut FOUR (4) 2 7/8″ squares. Then cut the squares diagonally, corner-to-corner, ONE (1) time. You’ll end up with TWO (2) triangles per square. (These will flank the FOUR (4) White 2 1/2″ squares for all FOUR (4) corner’s of this quilt block.)
  • Pink: Cut TWO (2) 2 7/8″ squares. Then cut the squares diagonally, corner-to-corner, ONE (1) time. You’ll end up with TWO (2) triangles per square. (These will flank the Pink 2 7/8″ squares & will help create the FOUR (4) corner’s of this quilt block.)
  • Pink: Cut FOUR (4) 3 3/8″ squares. (These are paired with FIVE (5) Red 3 3/8″ squares to create a Nine-Patch. They’ll also be the center of this quilt block.)
  • Red: Cut FIVE (5) 3 3/8″ squares. (These are paired with the FOUR (4) Pink 3 3/8″ squares to create a Nine-Patch. They’ll also be the center of this quilt block.)
  • White: Cut FOUR (4) 2 1/2″ squares. (These will be FOUR (4) corner’s of this quilt block.)
  • White: Cut TWO (2) 5 1/4″ squares. Then cut the squares diagonally, corner-to-corner, TWO (2) times. You’ll end up with FOUR (4) triangles per square. (These will flank the result’s of the Light Pink 2 7/8″ squares & the result’s of the Red 3 1/4″ squares. As needed for this quilt block.)

(These are paired with the result’s of the Light Teal 2 7/8″ squares & the Gray 2 7/8″ squares. Which will create FOUR (4) Quarter-Square Triangles as needed for this quilt block.)
  • Teal: Cut FIVE (5) 3 3/8″ squares. (These are paired with the FOUR (4) Gray 3 3/8″ squares which will create a Nine-Patch. They’ll also help create the center of this quilt block.)
  • Gray: Cut TWO (2) 2 7/8″ squares. Then cut the squares diagonally, corner-to-corner, ONE (1) time. You’ll end up with TWO (2) triangles per square. (These are paired with the results of the Light Teal 2 3/4″ squares & the Teal 2 3/4″ squares. Which will create FOUR (4) Quarter-Square Triangles as needed for this quilt block.)
  • Gray: Cut FOUR (4) 3 3/8″ squares. (These are paired with the FIVE (5) Teal 3 3/8″ squares which will create a Nine-Patch. They’ll also help create center of this quilt block.)
  • White: Cut TWO (2) 2 7/8″ squares. Then cut the squares diagonally, corner-to-corner, ONE (1) time. You’ll end up with TWO (2) triangles per square. (These are four corner’s of this quilt block.)

  • Red: Cut FOUR (4) 3 7/8″ squares. Then cut the squares diagonally, corner-to-corner, ONE (1) time. You’ll end up with TWO (2) triangles per square. (These will flank the results of the White 7 1/4″ squares,  which will create FOUR (4) Flying Geese, as needed for this quilt block.)
  • Red: Cut TWO (2) 4 1/4″ squares. Then cut the squares diagonally, corner-to-corner, TWO (2) times. You’ll end up with FOUR (4) triangles per square. (These are paired with the results of the White 4 1/4″ squares which will create FOUR (4) Quarter-Square Triangles. They’ll also help create the center of this quilt block.)
  • White: Cut FOUR (4) 3 1/2″ squares. (These will the FOUR (4) corner’s of this quilt block.)

  • Gray: Cut FIVE (5) 2 1/2″ squares. (These are paired with each other & will help create the center of this quilt block.)
  • Gray: Cut TWO (2) 2 7/8″ squares. (These are paired with the White 2 7/8″ squares which will create FOUR (4) Half-Square Triangles. They’ll also help create the center of this quilt block.)
  • Blue: Cut EIGHT (8) 1 1/2″ squares. (These are flanked on ONE (1) side by the Blue 1 1/2″ x 2 1/2″ rectangles & on ONE (1) other side by the results of the Blue 1 7/8″ squares. As needed for this quilt block.)
  • Blue: Cut EIGHT (8) 1 1/2″ x 2 1/2″ rectangles. (These are flanked by the Blue 1 1/2″ squares on ONE (1) side & on ONE (1) other side by the results of the the Blue 1 7/8″ squares As needed for this quilt block.)
  • Blue: Cut EIGHT (8) 1 7/8″ squares. Then cut the squares diagonally, corner-to-corner, ONE (1) time. You’ll end up with TWO (2) triangles per square. (These will flank the Blue 1 1/2″ square on ONE (1) side & the results of the White 3 1/4″ square on ONE (1) other side. As needed for this quilt block.)
  • Blue: Cut ONE (1) 5 1/4″ square. Then cut the square diagonally, corner-to-corner, ONE (1) time. You’ll end up with FOUR (4) triangles. (These will be flanked by the results of the White
    2 7/8″ squares, which will create FOUR (4) Flying Geese, as is needed for this quilt block.)
