There’s only two blocks that make up this quilt & they’re not too difficult to sew together! You could even change out the fabric colors if you’d like a more scrappy look! These quilt blocks are 12” finished & 12 1/2” unfinished.

In order for you to download this free pattern, all you need to do is to create a new account (or login to your current account) at QuiltDash.com & click on the link that says “Join the QuiltDash” (no quotes). Once you’ve done that, you just need to search for the images on the shops/websites/blogs who are participating in this month’s Quilt Dash. It’s really quite simple & it’s a fun thing to do! Not to mention you get to look at some lovely quilty fabrics & notions that you may just want to purchase (I promise not to tell anyone 🙂 )!

Cinnamon-teen Chocolate Figs & Roses Block of the Month Quilt designed by TK Harrison from BOMquilts.comCinnamon-teen Chocolate Figs & Roses Block of the Month Quilt designed by TK Harrison from BOMquilts.com

The Resort Quilt Club in Arizona started about 25 years ago. There were about 8 members at that time. We have grown to a group of nearly 70 members now!

They’re making my Cinnamon-teen Chocolate Figs & Roses Block of the Month (BOM) quilt except they’re making it as a Block of the Week (BOW) quilt!

The Club meets primarily in Jan., Feb., & March of each year. And has done a BOW quite successfully when they meet! In 2019, about 40 of the 75 members completed the BOW. In addition: There are a number of other weekly classes, speakers, challenge projects, service projects, Quilts of Valor & many other quilted blessings!

“Our membership is down this year, because our Canadian gals weren’t able to come this year, due to the Covid virus. We number in the 40’s this year.” says the Resort Club President.

About 25 people are in some stage of making the BOW’s. Some are doing it from their home states. Some are doing more than one block each week. Some are using all the lights, mediums & darks. Some are using three colors. But all are having fun!

I just love Linda & her team! If you haven’t shopped with her I’m sure you will, too! She only has six “Graceful Garden” kits, made out of the “Garden Notes” quilt fabric, available this year. If you want one you’d better order it sooner than later!

“Graceful Garden” is a paper pieced block of the month quilt, featuring the “Garden Notes” fabrics, designed by Diane Neukirch for Clothworks Fabrics!

The “Fabric Requirements” were posted on January 20, 2021 at BOMquilts.com!

Which means that you should have your “Graceful Garden” quilt top finished by the end of the year! Especially if we’re quarantined, for most of 2021, like we were for most of 2020!
