Snail’s Trail Quilt Block

Cutting Requirements for 12″ finished block (scant 1/4″ seam allowance):

Peach: Cut TWO (2) 2 5/8″ squares. (These are paired with the White 2 5/8″ squares which will create ONE (1) Four-Patch. When all sewn together they’ll create the center of this quilt block.)
Peach: Cut ONE (1) 3 7/8″ square. (This is paired with the White 3 7/8″ square, which will create TWO (2) Half-Square Triangles, as needed to sew this quilt block together.)
Peach: Cut ONE (1) 3 7/8″ square. Then cut the squares diagonally, corner-to-corner, ONE (1) time. Will yield TWO (2) triangles per square. (These triangles will flank the Four-Patch in the center of this quilt block. Together with the results of the White 3 7/8″ square, they’ll create ONE (1) Square in a Square, as needed to sew it together.)
Peach: Cut TWO (2) 3 1/2″ x 6 1/2″ rectangles. (These are paired with the Peach/White Half-Square Triangles. They’re also the lower left-hand & the upper right-hand corners of this quilt block.)
White: Cut TWO (2) 2 5/8″ squares. (These are paired with the Peach 2 5/8″ squares which will create ONE (1) Four-Patch. When all sewn together they’ll create the center of this quilt block.)
White: Cut ONE (1) 3 7/8″ square. On the back side of the squares draw a diagonal line, corner-to-corner, ONE (1) time. (This is paired with the Peach 3 7/8″ square, which will create TWO (2) Half-Square Triangles, as needed to sew this quilt block together.)
White: Cut ONE (1) 3 7/8″ square. Then cut the squares diagonally, corner-to-corner, ONE (1) time. Will yield TWO (2) triangles per square. (These triangles will flank the Four-Patch in the center of this quilt block. Together with the results of the Peach 3 7/8″ square, they’ll create ONE (1) Square in a Square, as needed to sew it together.)
White: Cut ONE (1) 3 1/2″ x 6 1/2″ rectangle. (This is the upper left-hand corner of this quilt block as needed to sew it together.)
White: Cut ONE (1) 3 1/2″ x 9 1/2″ rectangle. (This is the lower right-hand corner of this quilt block as needed to sew it together.)

Cutting Requirements for 12″ finished block (scant 1/4″ seam allowance):

Lt. Pink: Cut EIGHT (8) 2″ squares. (These are paired with the Pink 2″ squares, which will create FOUR (4) Four-Patches, as needed to sew this quilt block together.)
Pink: Cut EIGHT (8) 2″ squares. (These are paired with the Lt. Pink 2″ squares, which will create FOUR (4) Four-Patches, as needed to sew this quilt block together.)
Pink: Cut FOUR (4) 2″ squares. (These are the FOUR (4) corners of this quilt block. They’re paired with the Red/White Half-Square Triangles as needed to sew this quilt block together.)
Red: Cut FOUR (4) 2 3/8″ squares. (These are paired with the White 2 3/8″ squares which will create EIGHT (8) Half-Square Triangles. They’re paired with the Pink 2″ squares as needed to sew this quilt block together.)
Red: Cut ONE (1) 3 1/2″ square. (This is the center of this quilt block. It’s paired with the White 3 1/2″ x 5″ rectangles as needed to sew it together.)
White: Cut EIGHT (8) 2″ squares. (These are paired with the Pink 2″ squares in the corners of this quilt block as needed to sew it together.)

Cutting Requirements for 12″ finished block (scant 1/4″ seam allowance):

Lt. Blue: Cut FOUR (4) 2″ squares. (These are paired with the Lt. Blue/White Half-Square Triangles as needed to sew this quilt block together.)
Lt. Blue: Cut FOUR (4) 2 3/8″ squares. (These are paired with the White 2 3/8″ squares, which will create EIGHT (8) Half-Square Triangles, as needed to sew this quilt block together.)
Turquoise: Cut FOUR (4) 2″ squares. (These are paired with the Turquoise/White Half-Square Triangles as needed to sew this quilt block together.)
Turquoise: Cut FOUR (4) 2 3/8″ squares. (These are paired with the White 2 3/8″ squares, which will create EIGHT (8) Half-Square Triangles, as needed to sew this quilt block together.)
Purple: Cut FOUR (4) 2″ squares. (These are paired with the White 2″ squares as needed to sew this quilt block together.)
Purple: Cut FOUR (4) 1 1/2″ squares. (These are paired with the White 1 1/2″ squares which will create ONE (1) Nine-Patch. All sewn together they’ll create the middle of this quilt block.)
Purple: Cut EIGHT (8) 1 1/2″ x 5″ rectangles. (These are paired with the White 1 1/2″ x 5″ rectangles as needed to sew this quilt block together.)
White: Cut FOUR (4) 2 3/8″ squares. On the back side of the squares draw a diagonal line, corner-to-corner, ONE (1) time. (These are paired with the Lt. Blue 2 3/8″ squares, which will create EIGHT (8) Half-Square Triangles, as needed to sew this quilt block together.)
