Delaware Pines Quilt Block
Cutting Requirements for 12″ finished block (precise 1/4″ seam allowance):
- Brown: Cut ONE (1) 2 1/2″ square.
- Brown: Cut TWO (2) 2 3/4″ squares. On the back side of each square draw a diagonal line, corner-to-corner, ONE (1) time.
- Green: Cut ONE (1) 2 3/4″ squares. On the back side of each square draw a diagonal line, corner-to-corner, ONE (1) time.
- Green: Cut FOUR (4) 2 3/4″ squares. On the back side of each square draw a diagonal line, corner-to-corner, ONE (1) time.
- Dark Green: Cut ONE (1) 2 3/4″ square. (This will be paired with the first Green 2 3/4″ square to create a half-square triangle.)
- Dark Green: Cut FIVE (5) 2 3/4″ squares.
- White: Cut FOUR (4) 2 1/2″ squares.
- White: Cut THREE (3) 2 1/2″ x 4 1/2″ strips.
- White: Cut ONE (1) 2 1/2″ x 6 1/2″ strip.
- White: Cut TWO (2) 2 3/4″ squares. (These will be paired with the Brown 2 3/4″ squares to create half-square triangles. You only need THREE (3) half-square triangles for this quilt block.)
- White: Cut FOUR (4) 2 3/4″ squares. (These will be paired with the remaining Green 2 3/4″ squares to create a half-square triangles.)
- White: Cut FIVE (5) 2 3/4″ squares. (These will be paired with the remaining Dark Green 2 3/4″ squares to create a half-square triangles.)
