Cutting Requirements for 12″ finished block (scant 1/4″ seam allowance):

• Yellow: Cut ONE (1) 3 1/2″ square. (This is the center of this quilt block.)
• Yellow: Cut FOUR (4) 3 3/4″ squares. Then cut the squares diagonally, corner-to-corner, ONE (1) time. Will yield TWO (2) triangles per square. (These are paired with the results of the White 7 1/4″ square, which will create FOUR (4) Flying Geese.)
• White: Cut FOUR (4) 3 1/2″ squares. (These are the FOUR (4) corners of this quilt block.)
• White: Cut TWO (2) 2″ x 3 1/2″ strips. (These will “frame” the left & right sides of the Yellow 3 1/2″ square at the center of this quilt block.)
• White: Cut TWO (2) 2″ x 6 1/2″ strips. (These will “frame” the top & bottom sides of the Yellow 3 1/2″ square at the center of this quilt block.)
• White: Cut ONE (1) 7 1/4″ square. Then cut the squares diagonally, corner-to-corner, ONE (1) time. Will yield TWO (2) triangles per square. (These are paired with the results of the Yellow 3 3/4″ squares, which will create FOUR (4) Flying Geese.)

• Brown: Cut ONE (1) 1 3/4″ x 4″ strip.
• Green: Cut SIX (6) 2 1/2″ squares.
• Christmas Green: Cut FOUR (4) 2 1/2″ squares.
• Christmas Green: Cut FIVE (5) 2 3/4″ squares. On the back side of each square draw a diagonal line, corner-to-corner, ONE (1) time.
• Christmas Green: Cut THREE (3) 2 3/4″ squares. Then cut the squares diagonally, corner-to-corner, ONE (1) time. You will end up with TWO (2) triangles per square. You only need THREE (3) of these triangles to make this quilt block.
• White: Cut ONE (1) 2 1/2″ square.
• White: Cut FIVE (5) 2 3/4″ squares. (These will be paired with the Christmas Green 2 3/4″ squares to create half-square triangles.)
• White: Cut TWO (2) 3 1/4″ x 4″ strips.
• White: Cut ONE (1) 5 3/4″ square. Then cut the square diagonally, corner-to-corner, ONE (1) time. You will end up with TWO (2) triangles. You only need ONE (1) of these triangles to make this quilt block.
• White: Cut ONE (1) 6 1/4″ square. Then cut the square diagonally, corner-to-corner, TWO (2) times. You will end up with FOUR (4) triangles. You only need TWO (2) of these triangles to make this quilt block.
