It’s “Spring Arrival” Time at Quilt Dash this Month!

This month, “Spring Arrival” is the free pattern, that members earn
for completing the Quilt Dash.

Nothing says spring like baby birds peeping and waiting for their mama to bring them their dinner!

This quilt is made with 20 appliqué blocks, has 10 alternating blocks with two baby birds in their nests waiting for Mama. The other 10 blocks have Mama sitting on a branch with a worm to feed her babies.

The appliqué pieces can be made using your stash scraps or precuts. Mix them up for a scrappy look! The quilt is 58 1/4” x 70 1/4”. The finished blocks are 10” square.




In order for you to download this free pattern, all you need to do is to create a new account (or login to your current account) at QuiltDash.com & click on the link that says “Join the QuiltDash” (no quotes). Here’s what Phyllis has to say about her quilt pattern: “Create a quilt that can be an optical illusion with this on-point quilt pattern consisting of half square triangles and quarter square triangles. Quilters Dream quilt pattern consists of 5 different 8” blocks. An alternate arrangement of the blocks is shown for another option of creating your quilt. The quilt size is 44” x 55 1/4.”

Are you Ready for Some “Christmas Cheer”?

“Christmas Cheer” is the name of the quilt pattern, that you can earn, if you complete the Quilt Dash game for November!

There’s two beautiful quilt blocks that make up the “Christmas Cheer” quilt!

Enjoy some “Christmas Cheer” with holiday red and white peppermint! This quilt is made with two “sweet” blocks. One block is pieced with an on-point pinwheel using red and white stripe and the other block has an appliqué peppermint candy cane. The pattern is easy to adjust to make a table runner, table topper, wall hanging, lap quilt or a full size bed quilt.

Great for the holidays for a no calorie treat! 🙂

Both of the blocks are 10 1/2″ finished & 11″ unfinished.
And the “Christmas Cheer” quilt is 50” W x 60 1/2” H.

Enjoy the fall season with the colorful oranges, reds and yellow leave’s of the season with this “Fall Splendor” quilt pattern. The appliquéd leaves can be made with your scraps to make a colorful and scrappy quilt! Or use your precut fabrics so your leaves match!

You can easily adjust this quilt to a smaller or larger size by increasing or decreasing the number of blocks and/or rows.

Ah, summers! Picnics, family, cookouts. Getting together at the water’s edge to camp out & run your sailboats. The paper kind or the real ones! 🙂 That’s what summers are all about!

Sailing Away makes a cute quilt for a boy or for an adult sailor. Constructed with pieced sailboat blocks, this pattern is easy to adjust to make it larger or smaller. You can also use your scraps to make it scrappy looking.
