Spider Legs Quilt Block

Cutting Requirements for 12â€³ finished block (scant 1/4â€³ seam allowance):

Orange: Cut FOUR (4) 4 3/8″ squares. Then cut the squares diagonally, corner-to-corner, TWO (2) times. Will yield FOUR (4) triangles per square. (These triangles will flank the results of the Black 3 3/4″ squares which will create EIGHT (8) Flying Geese.)
Orange: Cut TWO (2) 3 3/4″ squares. Then cut the squares diagonally, corner-to-corner, ONE (1) time. Will yield TWO (2) triangles per square. (These triangles are flanked by the results of the Black 4 3/8″ squares which will create FOUR (4) Flying Geese.)
Black: Cut FOUR (4) 3 3/4″ squares. Then cut the squares diagonally, corner-to-corner, ONE (1) time. Will yield TWO (2) triangles per square. (These triangles will flank the results of the Orange 6 3/8″ squares which will create EIGHT (8) Flying Geese.)
Black: Cut ONE (1) 3 7/8″ square. (This is the center of this quilt block.)
White: Cut FOUR (4) 3″ squares. (These are the FOUR (4) corners of this quilt block.)
White: Cut ONE (1) 10 3/8″ square. Then cut the square diagonally, corner-to-corner, TWO (2) times. Will yield FOUR (4) triangles. (These triangles are paired with the Orange/Black Flying Geese.)

Cutting Requirements for 12â€³ finished block (scant 1/4â€³ seam allowance):

Green: Cut TWO (2) 2 1/2″ squares. (These are in the center of this quilt block. They are paired with the Dk. Gray/Black Half-Square Triangles.)
Dk. Gray: Cut TWO (2) 3 1/4″ squares. On the back side of the squares draw a diagonal line, corner-to-corner, ONE (1) time. (These are paired with the Black 3 1/4″ squares which will create FOUR (4) Half-Square Triangles. Then they are paired with the Green
2 1/2″ squares which will help create the center of this quilt block.)
Dk. Gray: Cut FOUR (4) 2 1/2″ x 4″ rectangles. (These are paired on ONE (1) end with the Dk. Gray/Green Half-Square Triangles. Then they are paired with the Black 2 1/2″ x
5 1/2″ rectangles.)
Dk. Gray: Cut TWO (2) 3″ x 3 1/2″ rectangles. (These are paired with the Black 3″ squares in the upper left-hand & the lower right-hand corners of this quilt block.)
Dk. Gray: Cut TWO (2) 3 1/2″ x 5 1/2″ rectangles. (These are paired with the Black 3 1/2″ x 5 1/2″ rectangles.)
Dk. Gray: Cut TWO (2) 4″ squares. (These are the lower left-hand & the upper right-hand corners of this quilt block. They are paired with the Black 2 1/2″ x 4″ rectangles.)
Black: Cut TWO (2) 2 1/2″ squares. (These are the upper left-hand & the lower right-hand corners of this quilt block. They are paired with the Dk. Gray 3″ x 3 1/2″ rectangles.)
Black: Cut TWO (2) 3″ squares. (These are the upper left-hand & the lower right-hand corners of this quilt block. They are paired with the Dk. Gray 3″ x 3 1/2″ rectangles.)

Cutting Requirements for 12â€³ finished block (scant 1/4â€³ seam allowance):

Blue: Cut FOUR (4) 3 7/8″ squares. On the back side of the squares draw a diagonal line, corner-to-corner, ONE (1) time. (These are paired with the Blue 3 7/8″ squares which will create FOUR (4) Snowball Corners. They will also be in the center of this quilt block.)
Blue: Cut FOUR (4) 3 7/8″ squares. (These are paired with the Blue 3 7/8″ squares which will create FOUR (4) Snowball Corners, It is also the center of this quilt block.
Gray: Cut ONE (1) 3 7/8″ square. (This is the center of this quilt block. It is paired with the Blue 3 7/8″ squares.)
Gray: Cut TWO (2) 6 3/8″ squares. Then cut the squares diagonally, corner-to-corner, TWO (2) times. Will yield FOUR (4) triangles per square. (These triangles will create a “frame” around the center of this quilt block.)
White: Cut TWO (2) 5 3/4″ squares. (These triangles are the FOUR (4) corners of this quilt block. They’re paired with the results of the Gray 6 3/8″ squares.)
White: Cut TWO (2) 6 3/8″ squares. Then cut the squares diagonally, corner-to-corner, TWO (2) times. Will yield FOUR (4) triangles per square. (These triangles are paired with the Blue 3 7/8″ squares. Once they are sewn together with the Gray 3 7/8″ square they will create the center of this quilt block.)

Turquoise: Cut ONE (1) 3 1/8″ square. (This is the center of this quilt block. It’s paired with the Pink 3 1/8″ squares.)
Turquoise: Cut FOUR (4) 2 1/2″ x 7″ rectangles. (These are paired with the White 2 1/2″ x 7″ rectangles.)
Pink: Cut FOUR (4) 3 1/8″ squares. On the back side of the squares draw a diagonal line, corner-to-corner, ONE (1) time. (These are paired with the Pink 3 1/8″ squares which will create FOUR (4) Snowball Corners.)
Pink: Cut FOUR (4) 3 1/8″ squares. (These are first paired with the Pink 3 1/8″ squares which will create FOUR (4) Snowball Corners. Then they are paired with the results of the White 5 3/8″ squares.
