Cutting Requirements for 12″ finished block (scant 1/4″ seam allowance):
- Green: Cut FOUR (4) 1 3/8″ squares. Then cut the squares diagonally, corner-to-corner, ONE (1) time. Will yield TWO (2) triangles per square. (These triangles will flank the results of the White 2 1/2″ square which will create FOUR (4) Flying Geese.)
- Green: Cut FOUR (4) 4 1/2″ squares. (These are the FOUR (4) corners of this quilt block.)
- Green: Cut FOUR (4) 1 1/2″ x 4″ rectangles. (These rectangles are paired with the Green/White Flying Geese. They are then paired with the White 1 1/2″ x 4″ rectangles.)
- White: Cut ONE (1) 2 1/4″ square. Then cut the square diagonally, corner-to-corner, TWO (2) times. Will yield FOUR (4) triangles. (These triangles are flanked by the results of the Green 3 5/8″ squares which will create FOUR (4) Flying Geese.)
- White: Cut FOUR (4) 4 1/2″ x 6″ rectangles. (These rectangles are paired with the Green 1 5/8″ x 4″ rectangles.)
- White: Cut ONE (1) 4 1/2″ square. (This is the center of this quilt block.)

Sew TWELVE (12) “Nine-Patch Quilt Blocks” to end up with the quilt top pictured above. The size will be 36″ x 48″ finished & 36 1/2″ x 48 1/2″ unfinished.
