Golden Ring Quilt Block

Cutting Requirements for 12″ finished block (scant 1/4″ seam allowance):

• Gold: Cut FOUR (4) 2 1/2″ squares. (These are paired with the White 2 1/2″ square. They’ll also help create the center of this quilt block.)
• Gold: Cut TWO (2) 2 7/8″ squares. (These are paired with the White 2 7/8″ squares which will create FOUR (4) Half-Square Triangles. They’ll also help create the center of this quilt block.)
• Gray: Cut TWO (2) 3 7/8″ squares. (These are paired with the White 3 7/8″ squares which will create FOUR (4) Half-Square Triangles. They’ll also be the FOUR (4) corners of this quilt block.)
• Gray: Cut FOUR (4) 3 1/2″ x 6 1/2″ rectangles. These are paired with the Half-Square Triangles as needed for this quilt block.)
• White: Cut ONE (1) 2 1/2″ square. (This is the center of this quilt block. It’s paired with the Gold 2 1/2″ squares.)
• White: Cut TWO (2) 2 7/8″ squares. On the back side of the squares draw a diagonal line, corner-to-corner, ONE (1) time. (These are paired with the Gold 2 7/8″ squares which will create FOUR (4) Half-Square Triangles. They’ll also help create the center of this quilt block.)
• White: Cut TWO (2) 3 7/8″ squares. On the back side of the squares draw a diagonal line, corner-to-corner, ONE (1) time. (These are paired with the Gray 3 7/8″ squares which will create FOUR (4) Half-Square Triangles. They’ll also be the FOUR (4) corners of this quilt block.)
