Cutting Requirements for 12″ finished block (scant 1/4″ seam allowance):
- Gray: Cut FIVE (5) 4 5/8″ squares. Then cut the squares diagonally, corner-to-corner, ONE (1) time. You’ll end up with TWO (2) triangles per square. (These are flanked by the results of the White 2 7/8″ squares, which will create TEN (10) Flying Geese. You only need NINE (9) of these Flying Geese for this quilt block.)

- White: Cut NINE (9) 2 7/8″ squares. Then cut the squares diagonally, corner-to-corner, ONE (1) time. You’ll end up with TWO (2) triangles per square. (These will flank the results of the Green 4 5/8″ squares, which will create TEN (10) Flying Geese. You only need NINE (9) of these Flying Geese for this quilt block.)
