Cutting Requirements for 12″ finished block (scant 1/4″ seam allowance):
- Gray: Cut TWO (2) 3 7/8″ squares. (These are pared with the White 3 7/8″ squares, which will create FOUR (4) Flying Geese, as needed for this quilt block.)
- Gray: Cut TWO (2) 3 7/8″ squares. On the back side of each square draw a diagonal line, corner-to-corner, ONE (1) time. (These are paired with the Blue 3 7/8″ squares which will create FOUR (4) Flying Geese. They’ll also help create the center of this quilt block.)
- Blue: Cut TWO (2) 3 7/8″ squares. (These are pared with the White 3 7/8″ squares, which will create FOUR (4) Flying Geese, as needed for this quilt block.)
- Blue: Cut TWO (2) 3 7/8″ squares. (These are paired with the Gray 3 7/8″ squares which will create FOUR (4) Flying Geese. They’ll also help create the center of this quilt block.)
- White: Cut FOUR (4) 3 1/2″ squares. (These are the FOUR (4) corners of this quilt block.)
- White: Cut TWO (2) 3 7/8″ squares. On the back side of each square draw a diagonal line, corner-to-corner, ONE (1) time. (These are paired with the Gray 3 7/8″ squares, which will create FOUR (4) Flying Geese, as needed for this quilt block.)
- White: Cut TWO (2) 3 7/8″ squares. On the back side of each square draw a diagonal line, corner-to-corner, ONE (1) time. (These are paired with the Blue 3 7/8″ squares, which will create FOUR (4) Flying Geese, as needed for this quilt block.)

- Dk. Gray: Cut TWO (2) 3 7/8″ squares. (These are paired with the Blue 3 7/8″squares which will create FOUR (4) Half-Square Triangles. They’ll also help create the center of this quilt block.)
- Blue: Cut TWO (2) 3 7/8″ squares. (These are paired with the White 3 7/8″squares, which will create FOUR (4) Half-Square Triangles. They’re also the FOUR (4) corners of this quilt block.)
- Blue: Cut TWO (2) 3 7/8″ squares. (These are paired with the White 3 7/8″squares, which will create FOUR (4) Half-Square Triangles, as needed for this quilt block.)
