Swamp Patch Quilt Block

Cutting Requirements for 12″ finished block (scant 1/4″ seam allowance):

• Green: Cut TWO (2) 4 7/8″ squares. (These are paired with the White 4 7/8″ squares which will create FOUR (4) Half-Square Triangles. They’ll also be the FOUR (4) corner’s of this quilt block.)
• Green: Cut ONE (1) 5 1/4″ square. Then cut the square diagonally, corner-to-corner, TWO (2) times. You’ll end up with FOUR (4) triangles. (These are paired with the results of the White
  5 1/4″ square & with the results of the Tan 5 1/4″ squares. Which will create FOUR (4) Quarter-Square Triangles as needed for this block.)
• Tan: Cut TWO (2) 5 1/4″ squares. Then cut the squares diagonally, corner-to-corner, TWO (2) times. You’ll end up with FOUR (4) triangles per square. (These are paired with the results of the White 5 1/4″ square & with the results of the Green 5 1/4″ square. Which will create FOUR (4) Quarter-Square Triangles as needed for this block.)
• Pink: Cut ONE (1) 5 1/4″ square. Then cut the square diagonally, corner-to-corner, TWO (2) times. You’ll end up with FOUR (4) triangles. You only need TWO (2) of these triangles for this quilt block. (These are paired with the results of the White 5 1/4″ square which will create ONE (1) Quarter-Square Triangle. They’ll also be the center of this quilt block.)
• White: Cut TWO (2) 4 7/8″ squares. On the back side draw a diagonal line, corner-to-corner, ONE (1) time. (These are paired with the Green 4 7/8″ squares which will create FOUR (4) Half-Square Triangles. They’ll also be the FOUR (4) corner’s of this quilt block.)
• White: Cut ONE (1) 5 1/4″ squares. Then cut the square diagonally, corner-to-corner, TWO (2) times. You’ll end up with FOUR (4) triangles. (These are paired with the results of the Tan
  5 1/4″ squares & with the results of the Green 5 1/4″ square. Which will create FOUR (4) Quarter-Square Triangles as needed for this block.)
• White: Cut ONE (1) 5 1/4″ squares. Then cut the square diagonally, corner-to-corner, TWO (2) times. You’ll end up with FOUR (4) triangles. You only need TWO (2) of these triangles for this quilt block. (These are paired with the results of the Pink 5 1/4″ square which will create ONE (1) Quarter-Square Triangle. They’ll also be the center of this quilt block.)
