Patch Blossom Quilt Block
Cutting Requirements for 12″ finished block (precise 1/4″ seam allowance):
- Green: Cut FOUR (4) 3 1/4″ squares. Then cut the squares diagonally, corner-to-corner, ONE (1) time. You will end up with TWO (2) triangles per square. (You only need THREE (3) of these triangles to make this quilt block)
- Green: Cut SIX (6) 3 1/4″ squares. On the back side of each square draw a diagonal line, corner-to-corner, ONE (1) time.
- Green: Cut ONE (1) 3 3/4″ x 7 1/4″ strip.
- Green: Cut ONE (1) 3″ square. Then cut the square diagonally, corner-to-corner, TWO (2) times. You will end up with FOUR (4) triangles. (You only need TWO (2) of these triangles to make this quilt block.)
- White: Cut ONE (1) 2 1/4″ square. Then cut the squares diagonally, corner-to-corner, ONE (1) time. You will end up with TWO (2) triangles.
- White: Cut ONE (1) 4 3/4″ square. Then cut the squares diagonally, corner-to-corner, ONE (1) time. You will end up with TWO (2) triangles.
- White: Cut TWO (2) 2″ x 2 1/2″ strips.
- White: Cut TWO (2) 2 1/4″ x 4 1/4″ strips.
- White: Cut ONE (1) 4 3/4″ square. Then cut the squares diagonally, corner-to-corner, ONE (1) time. You will end up with TWO (2) triangles.
- White: Cut FIVE (5) 3 1/4″ squares. (These will be paired up with the Green 3 1/4″ squares to create your half square triangles.)
