A New Quilt Dash Begins Tomorrow & it’s all About “In Honor” of our Veterans!

Dolley Madison & Martha Washington are as American as you can get! Two heroines from our American history! That’s the names of the quilt blocks that make up this timeless quilt pattern!

This month, “In Honor” is the free pattern that members earn,
for completing the Quilt Dash.

Here’s a sneak-peak at the quilt blocks that are named for these heroines of our history:

There’s nobody who deserves more recognition than those who’ve served and/or who are currently serving our country in the military!

This quilt could be made & used as a Quilts of Valor quilt! Then gifted to a veteran of your choice, or donated to a quilt group/guild for a vet, or even donated to the National QOV Association!

"In Honor" Quilt Free Pattern for Members at QuiltDash.com!This traditionally pieced quilt measures 70″ square when finished.
The quilt blocks are 14” finished and 14 1/2” unfinished.

It’s “Spring Arrival” Time at Quilt Dash this Month!

This month, “Spring Arrival” is the free pattern, that members earn
for completing the Quilt Dash.

Nothing says spring like baby birds peeping and waiting for their mama to bring them their dinner!

This quilt is made with 20 appliqué blocks, has 10 alternating blocks with two baby birds in their nests waiting for Mama. The other 10 blocks have Mama sitting on a branch with a worm to feed her babies.

The appliqué pieces can be made using your stash scraps or precuts. Mix them up for a scrappy look! The quilt is 58 1/4” x 70 1/4”. The finished blocks are 10” square.

Quilters Dream quilt pattern consists of 5 different 8” blocks. An alternate arrangement of the blocks is shown for another option of creating your quilt. The quilt size is 44” x 55 1/4.”
