Oatmeal Raisin Cookies Quilt Block
Cutting Requirements for 12″ finished block (scant 1/4″ seam allowance):
- Dark Purple: Cut SIX (6) 2 1/2″ squares. (These are flanked on TWO (2) sides by the Brown
2 1/2″ squares & on the other TWO (2) sides by the results of the Beige 3″ squares, as needed for this quilt block.) - Purple: Cut SIX (6) 2 1/2″ squares. (These are flanked on TWO (2) sides by the Light Brown
2 1/2″ squares & on the other TWO (2) sides by the results of the Beige 3″ squares, as needed for this quilt block.) - Brown: Cut FOUR (4) 2 1/2″ squares. (These are flanked on ONE (1) side by the Light Brown
2 1/2″ squares & on the ONE (1) other side by the Purple 2 1/2″ squares, as needed for this quilt block.) - Brown: Cut SIX (6) 3″ squares. (These are paired with the Beige 3″ squares, which will create TWELVE (12) Half-Square Triangles. They’ll also be the FOUR (4) corner’s of this quilt block.)
- Light Brown: Cut FOUR (4) 2 1/2″ squares. (These are flanked on ONE (1) side by the Light Purple 2 1/2″ squares & on ONE (1) other side by the Brown 2 1/2″ squares, as needed for this quilt block.
- Beige: Cut ONE (1) 4 1/2″ square. (This is the center of this quilt block.)
- Beige: Cut SIX (6) 3″ squares. On the back side of the squares draw a diagonal line, corner-to-corner, ONE (1) time. (These are paired with the Brown 3″ squares, which will create TWELVE (12) Half-Square Triangles. They’ll also be the FOUR (4) corner’s of this quilt block.)
