Cutting Requirements for 12″ finished block (scant 1/4″ seam allowance):

  • Blue: Cut EIGHT (8) 2″ x 4 3/4″ rectangles. (These are paired with the White 2″ x 4 3/4″ rectangles as needed for this quilt block.)
  • White: Cut EIGHT (8) 2″ x 4 3/4″ rectangles. (These are paired with the Blue 2″ x 4 3/4″ rectangles as needed for this quilt block.)
  • White: Cut SIXTEEN (16) 3″ squares. On the back side of the squares draw a diagonal line, corner-to-corner, ONE (1) time. (These are paired with the Blue 2″ x 4 3/4″ rectangles & the White 2″ x 4 3/4″ rectangles. Which will create SIXTEEN (16) Snowball Corners as needed for this quilt block.)

Cutting Requirements for 12″ finished block (scant 1/4″ seam allowance):

  • Purple: Cut TWO (2) 2 1/2″ squares. (These will be the upper left-hand corner & lower right-hand corner of this quilt block.)
  • Purple: Cut TWO (2) 4 1/2″ squares. (These are paired with the White 4 1/2″ squares. Which will create a Four-Patch & be the center of this quilt block.)
  • Purple: Cut EIGHT (8) 3″ squares. (These are paired with the White 3″ squares & will create SIXTEEN (16) Half-Square Triangles, as needed for this quilt block.)
  • White: Cut TWO (2) 2 1/2″ squares. (These will be the lower left-hand corner & upper right-hand corner of this quilt block.)
  • White: Cut TWO (2) 4 1/2″ squares. (These are paired with the Purple 4 1/2″ squares. Which will create a Four-Patch & be the center of this quilt block.)
  • White: Cut EIGHT (8) 3″ squares. On the back side of the squares draw a diagonal line, corner-to-corner, ONE (1) time. (These are paired with the White 3″ squares & will create SIXTEEN (16) Half-Square Triangles, as needed for this quilt block.)

  • White: Cut TEN (10) 3″ squares. On the back side of the squares draw a diagonal line, corner-to-corner, ONE (1) time. (These are paired with the Aqua 3″ squares, which will create TWENTY (20) Half-Square Triangles, as needed for this quilt block.)

Cutting Requirements for 12″ finished block (scant 1/4″ seam allowance):

  • Light Pink: Cut ONE (1) 4 1/2″ square. (This will be flanked on all FOUR (4) sides, by the Light Gray 4 1/2″ squares. It will also be the center of this quilt block.)
  • Light Gray: Cut FOUR (4) 4 1/2″ squares. (These will flank on ONE (1) side the Pink 4 1/2″ square & on TWO (2) other sides the results of the Light Gray 5″ squares, as needed for this quilt block.)
  • Light Gray: Cut TWO (2) 5″ squares. (These are paired with the White 5″ squares & will create FOUR (4) Half-Square Triangles, as needed for this quilt block.)
  • White: Cut TWO (2) 5″ squares. On the back side of the squares draw a diagonal line, corner-to-corner, ONE (1) time. (These are paired with the Light Gray 5″ squares & will create FOUR (4) Half-Square Triangles, as needed for this quilt block.)

Cutting Requirements for 12″ finished block (scant 1/4″ seam allowance):

  • Tan: Cut ONE (1) 3 1/2″ square. (This will be flanked by the results of the White 2″ squares & it’ll create a Square in a Square. It will also be the center of this quilt block.)
  • Tan: Cut FOUR (4) 2 1/2″ squares. (These will be flanked on TWO (2) sides by the Mint Green 3″ squares . Which will create FOUR (4) Split Half-Square Triangles as needed for this quilt block.)
  • Tan: Cut TWO (2) 5″ squares. On the back side of the squares draw a diagonal line, corner-to-corner, ONE (1) time. (These are paired with the results of the Mint Green 3″ squares & the Tan 2 1/2″ squares. Which will create FOUR (4) Split Half-Square Triangles as needed for this quilt block.)
  • Mint Green: Cut FOUR (4) 1 1/2″ squares. (These are flanked on TWO (2) sides by the results of the White 2″ squares. Which will help create a Square in a Square & be the center of this quilt block.)
  • Mint Green: Cut FOUR (4) 3″ squares. Then cut the squares diagonally, corner-to-corner, ONE (1) time. You will end up with TWO (2) triangles per square. (These are paired with the Tan 2 1/2″ squares & the Tan 5″ squares. Which will create FOUR (4) Split Half-Square Triangles as needed for this quilt block.)
  • Mint Green: Cut FOUR (4) 2 1/2″ x 4 1/2″ rectangles. (These are paired with the White 2 1/2″ x 4 1/2″ rectangles & will be flanked on TWO (2) sides by the Tan 2 1/2″ squares, as needed for this quilt block.)
  • White: Cut FOUR (4) 2″ squares. Then cut the squares diagonally, corner-to-corner, ONE (1) time. You will end up with TWO (2) triangles per square. (These will flank the Tan 3 1/2″ square on TWO (2) sides & on the other TWO (2) sides they’ll be flanked by the Mint Green 1 1/2″ squares. Which will help create a Square in a Square & be the center of this quilt block.)
  • White: Cut FOUR (4) 2 1/2″ x 4 1/2″ rectangles. (These are paired with the Mint Green 2 1/2″ x 4 1/2″ rectangles & will be flanked on TWO (2) sides by the Tan 2 1/2″ squares, as needed for this quilt block.)
