Cutting Requirements for 12″ finished block (scant 1/4″ seam allowance):

  • Green: Cut FOUR (4) 3″ squares. (These are paired with the White 3″ squares & will create ONE (1) Nine-Patch. They’ll also be the center of this quilt block.)
  • Green: Cut FOUR (4) 3″ squares. (These are the FOUR (4) corner’s of this quilt block.)
  • Green: Cut FOUR (4) 3 1/4″ squares. (These are paired with the White 3 1/4″ squares, which will create EIGHT (8) Half-Square Triangles, as needed for this quilt block.)
  • White: Cut NINE (9) 3″ squares. (These are paired with the Green 3″ squares & will create ONE (1) Nine-Patch. They’ll also be the center of this quilt block.)
  • White: Cut FOUR (4) 3 1/4″ squares. On the back side of each square draw a diagonal line, corner-to-corner, ONE (1) time. (These are paired with the Green 3 1/4″ squares, which will create EIGHT (8) Half-Square Triangles, as needed for this quilt block.)

Cutting Requirements for 12″ finished block (scant 1/4″ seam allowance):

  • Salmon: Cut FOUR (4) 3″ squares. (These are paired with the White 3″ squares, which will create ONE (1) Nine-Patch. They’ll also be the center of this quilt block.)
  • Salmon: Cut FOUR (4) 3″ squares. (These are the FOUR (4) corner’s of this quilt block.)
  • Salmon: Cut FOUR (4) 3 1/4″ squares. (These are paired with the White 3 1/4″ squares, which will create EIGHT (8) Half-Square Triangles, as needed for this quilt block.)
  • Salmon: Cut TWO (2) 3 3/4″ squares. Then cut the squares diagonally, corner-to-corner, TWO (2) times. You will end up with FOUR (4) triangles. (These are paired with the results of the White 3 3/4″ squares, which will create FOUR (4) Quarter-Square Triangles, as needed for this quilt block.)
  • White: Cut FIVE (5) 3″ squares. (These are paired with the Salmon 3″ squares, which will create ONE (1) Nine-Patch. They’ll also be the center of this quilt block.)

Cutting Requirements for 12″ finished block (scant 1/4″ seam allowance):

  • Blue: Cut ONE (1) 2″ square. (This is flanked by the results of the Blue 2″ squares & will be the center of this quilt block.)
  • Blue: Cut FOUR (4) 2″ squares. Then cut the squares diagonally, corner-to-corner, ONE (1) time. You’ll end up with TWO (2) triangles per square. (These will flank the Blue 2″ square. They’ll also be flanked by the results of the White 3 1/4″ square, which will create FOUR (4) Flying Geese, as needed for this quilt block.)
  • Purple: Cut TWO (2) 5″ squares. (These are paired with the White 5″ squares, which will create FOUR (4) Half-Square Triangles. They’ll also be the FOUR (4) corner’s of this quilt block.)
  • Purple: Cut FOUR (4) 1 1/2″ x 4 1/2″ rectangles. (These are paired with the White 1 1/2″ x
    4 1/2″ rectangles as needed for this quilt block.)
  • White: Cut FOUR (4) 1 1/2″ squares. (These will flank the results of the Blue 2″ squares & will help create the center of this quilt block.)

  • Aqua: Cut ONE (1) 3 1/4″ square. Then cut the squares diagonally, corner-to-corner, TWO (2) times. You’ll end up with FOUR (4) triangles per square. You only need TWO (2) of these triangles for this quilt block. (These are paired with the results of the Teal 3 1/4″ squares, which will create ONE (1) Quarter-Square Triangle. It’ll also be the center of this quilt block.)
  • Teal: Cut ONE (1) 3 1/4″ square. Then cut the squares diagonally, corner-to-corner, TWO (2) times. You’ll end up with FOUR (4) triangles per square. You only need TWO (2) of these triangles for this quilt block. (These are paired with the results of the Aqua 3 1/4″ squares, which will create ONE (1) Quarter-Square Triangle.   • White: Cut FOUR (4) 3″ squares. On the back side of the squares draw a diagonal line, corner-to-corner, ONE (1) time. (These are paired with the Aqua 3″ squares, which will create EIGHT (8) Half-Square Triangles, as needed for this quilt block.)
  • White: Cut TWO (2) 3″ squares. Then cut the squares diagonally, corner-to-corner, ONE (1) time. You will end up with TWO (2) triangles per square. (These will be the FOUR (4) corner’s of this quilt block.)
  • White: Cut ONE (1) 7 1/4″ square. Then cut the square diagonally, corner-to-corner, TWO (2) times. You’ll end up with FOUR (4) triangles. (These are paired with the results of the Blue 7 1/4″ squares as needed for this quilt block.)
