Cutting Requirements for 12″ finished block (scant 1/4″ seam allowance):
- Aqua: Cut TWELVE (12) 2 3/8″ squares. (These are paired with the White 2 3/8″ squares, which will create TWENTY-FOUR (24) Half-Square Triangles, as needed to sew this quilt block together.)
- Aqua: Cut FOUR (4) 1 7/8″ squares. (These are paired with the White 1 7/8″ squares which will create ONE (1) Nine-Patch. They’ll als0 be the center of this quilt block.)
- White: Cut TWELVE (12) 2 3/8″ squares. On the back side of the squares draw a diagonal line, corner-to-corner, ONE (1) time. (These are paired with the Aqua 2 3/8″ squares, which will create TWENTY-FOUR (24) Half-Square Triangles, as needed to sew this quilt block together.)
- White: Cut FIVE (5) 1 7/8″ squares. (These are paired with the Aqua 1 7/8″ squares which will create ONE (1) Nine-Patch. They’ll als0 be the center of this quilt block.)
- White: Cut TWO (2) 3 7/8″ squares. Then cut the squares diagonally, corner-to-corner, ONE (1) time. You’ll end up with TWO (2) triangles per square. (These are the FOUR (4) corners of this quilt block.)
- White: Cut ONE (1) 7 1/4″ square. Then cut the square diagonally, corner-to-corner, TWO (2) times. You’ll end up with FOUR (4) triangles. (These are flanked by the Aqua/White Half-Square Triangles as needed to sew this quilt block together.)
- White: Cut FOUR (4) 1 7/8″ x 4 3/4″ rectangles. (These are paired with the Aqua/White Half-Square Triangles as needed to sew this quilt block together.)

If you sew TWELVE (12) “Crossroads Quilt Blocks” you’ll end up with the quilt top pictured above. The size will be 36″ x 48″ finished, 36 1/2″ x 48 1/2″ unfinished.
