Flowering Cross Quilt Block

Cutting Requirements for 12″ finished block (scant 1/4″ seam allowance):

• Dk. Pink: Cut FOUR (4) 2″ squares. (These are the FOUR (4) corners of this quilt block.)
• Pink: Cut EIGHT (8) 2″ x 3 1/2″ rectangles. (These are paired with the White 3 1/2″ squares as needed for this quilt block.)
• Red: Cut FOUR (4) 2″ squares. (These are paired with the Pink 2″ squares & will help create the FOUR (4) corners of this quilt block.)
• Red: Cut FOUR (4) 2″ x 3 1/2″ rectangles. (These are paired with the Pink 2″ x 3 1/2″ rectangles as needed for this quilt block.)
• Red: Cut FOUR (4) 2 5/8″ squares. On the back side of the squares draw a diagonal line, corner-to-corner, ONE (1) time. (These are paired with either the Red 2 5/8″ squares or the Red 2 5/8″ x 6 7/8″ rectangles. Which will create FOUR (4) Snowball Corners. They’ll also help create the center of this quilt block.
• Red: Cut TWO (2) 2 5/8″ squares. (These are paired with the Red 2 5/8″ squares which will create TWO (2) Snowball Corners. They’ll also help create the center of this quilt block.)
• Red: Cut TWO (2) 2 5/8″ x 6 7/8″ rectangles. (These are paired with the 2 5/8″ squares which will create TWO (2) Snowball Corners. They’ll also help create the center of this quilt block.)
• White: Cut FOUR (4) 3 1/2″ squares. (These are paired with the Pink 2 1/2″ x 3 1/2″ rectangles as needed for this quilt block.)
• White: Cut FOUR (4) 2 3/8″ squares. Then cut the squares diagonally, corner-to-corner, ONE (1) time. You’ll end up with TWO (2) triangles per square. (These will flank either the Red
  2 5/8″ squares or the Red 2 5/8″ x 6 7/8″ rectangles. They’ll also help create the center of this quilt block.)
