No Peeking Quilt Block

Cutting Requirements for 12″ finished block (scant 1/4″ seam allowance):

• Pale Yellow: Cut FOUR (4) 2 5/8″ x 4 3/4″ rectangles. (These are flanked on TWO (2) ends by the Yellow 2 5/8″ squares. They’ll also create a “frame” around the center Square in a Square of this quilt block.)
• Yellow: Cut ONE (1) 3 1/2″ square. (This is flanked by the results of the White 4 1/4″ square which will create ONE (1) Square in a Square. It’ll also be the center of this quilt block.)
• Yellow: Cut FOUR (4) 2 5/8″ squares. (These will flank TWO (2) ends of the Pale Yellow
  2 5/8″ x 4 3/4″ rectangles. They’ll also create a “frame” around the center Square in a Square of this quilt block.)
• Green: Cut SIXTEEN (16) 2″ squares. (These are paired with the White 2″ squares & will be flanked by the results of the White 2 5/8″ squares. They’ll also help create the FOUR (4) corner’s of this quilt block.)
• White: Cut EIGHT (8) 2″ squares. (These are paired with the Green 2″ squares & they’ll help create the FOUR (4) corner’s of this quilt block.)
• White: Cut EIGHT (8) 2 5/8″ squares. Then cut the squares diagonally, corner-to-corner, ONE (1) time. You’ll end up with TWO (2) triangles per square. (These will flank on ONE (1) side the Green 2″ squares & on ONE (1) other side they’ll flank the Pale Yellow 2 5/8″ x 4 3/4″ rectangles. As needed for this quilt block.)
• White: Cut ONE (1) 4 1/4″ square. Then cut the square diagonally, corner-to-corner, TWO (2) times. You’ll end up with FOUR (4) triangles. (These will flank the Yellow 3 1/2″ square which will create ONE (1) Square in a Square. They’ll also help create the center of this quilt block.)
