Peaceful Evening Quilt Block

Cutting Requirements for 12″ finished block (scant 1/4″ seam allowance):

• Lilac: Cut FOUR (4) 4 1/2″ squares. (These are flanked by either the results of the White 5 1/4″ square, or the results of the Gray 5 1/4″ square, as needed for this quilt block.)
• Gray: Cut SIX (6) 2 7/8″ squares. (These are paired with the White 2 7/8″ squares which will create TWELVE (12) Half-Square Triangles. They’ll also be the FOUR (4) corner’s of this quilt block.)
• Gray: Cut ONE (1) 5 1/4″ square. Then cut the square diagonally, corner-to-corner, TWO (2) times. You’ll end up with FOUR (4) triangles. You only need TWO (2) of these triangles for this quilt block. (These are paired with the results of the White 5 1/4″ square which which will create ONE (1) Quarter-Square Triangle. They’ll also be the center of this quilt block.)
• White: Cut FOUR (4) 2 1/2″ squares. (These will be flanked by the results of the Gray 2 7/8″ squares. They’ll also help create the FOUR (4) corner’s of this quilt block.)
• White: Cut SIX (6) 2 7/8″ squares. (These are paired with the Gray 2 7/8″ squares which will create TWELVE (12) Half-Square Triangles. They’ll also be the FOUR (4) corner’s of this quilt block.)
• White: Cut ONE (1) 5 1/4″ square. Then cut the square diagonally, corner-to-corner, TWO (2) times. You’ll end up with FOUR (4) triangles. You only need TWO (2) of these triangles for this quilt block. (These are paired with the results of the Gray 5 1/4″ square which which will create ONE (1) Quarter-Square Triangle.
