Hard Candy Quilt Block

Cutting Requirements for 12″ finished block (scant 1/4″ seam allowance):

• Pink: Cut ONE (1) 4″ square. (This is paired with the Cream 3″ square, which will create TWO (2) Half-Square Triangles. They will also be the upper left-hand & the lower right-hand corner’s of this quilt block.)
• Pink: Cut ONE (1) 6 1/2″ square. (This will be paired with the Cream 3 1/2″ squares, which will create TWO (2) Snowball Corners. It will also be the center of this quilt block.)
• Cream: Cut ONE (1) 4″ square. On the back side of the squares draw a diagonal line, corner-to-corner, ONE (1) time. (This is paired with the Pink 3″ square, which will create TWO (2) Half-Square Triangles. They will also be the upper left-hand & the lower right-hand corner’s of this quilt block.)
• Cream: Cut TWO (2) 3 1/2″ squares. On the back side of the squares draw a diagonal line, corner-to-corner, ONE (1) time. (These are paired with the Pink 6 1/2″ square, which will create TWO (2) Snowball Corners. It will also be the center of this quilt block.)
• Cream: Cut TWO (2) 3 1/2″ x 6 1/2″ rectangles. (These will flank the bottom & right sides of the center of this quilt block.)
• Cream: Cut TWO (2) 3 1/2″ x 9 1/2″ rectangles. (These will flank upper & left sides of the center of this quilt block.)
