Eva’s Delight Quilt Block
Cutting Requirements for 12″ finished block (scant 1/4″ seam allowance):
- Mint Green: Cut FOUR (4) 2 1/2″ x 4 1/2″ strips. (These will be the center of the plants (so to speak), and will be flanked by the results of the White 3 7/8″ squares, as needed for this quilt block.)
- Mint Green: Cut SIX (6) 3 1/4″ squares. Then cut the squares diagonally, corner-to-corner, TWO (2) times. You will end up with FOUR (4) triangles per square. (These will flank the Mint Green 2 1/2″ x 4 1/2″ strips these directions & bottom & sides of this quilt block. If you don’t understand these instructions, please contact me for additional info.)
- Teal: Cut TWELVE (12) 1 7/8″ squares. (These are paired with the White 1 7/8″ squares as needed for this quilt block.)
- White: Cut FIVE (5) 1 7/8″ squares. (These are paired with the Teal 1 7/8″ squares as needed for this quilt block.)
- White: Cut SIX (6) 3 7/8″ squares. Then cut the squares diagonally, corner-to-corner, ONE (1) time. You will end up with TWO (2) triangles per square. (These will flank the Mint Green
2 1/2″ x 4 1/2″ strips as needed for this quilt block.)

If you make TWELVE (12) “Eva’s Delight Quilt Blocks,” you will end up with the quilt top pictured above. The size will be 36″ x 48″ finished, 36 1/2″ x 48 1/2″ unfinished.
