Cutting Requirements for 12″ finished block (scant 1/4″ seam allowance):
- Light Pink: Cut TWO (2) 6 1/2″ squares. (These will be the lower left-hand corner & the upper right-hand corner of this quilt block.)
- Dark Pink: Cut TWO (2) 3 1/2″ squares. (These are flanked by the results of the Red 3 7/8″ squares. They’ll also be the FOUR (4) corner’s of this quilt block.)
- Dark Pink: Cut ONE (1) 6 7/8″ square. Then cut the square diagonally, corner-to-corner, ONE (1) time. You’ll end up with TWO (2) triangles. (These are flanked by the results of the Red
3 7/8″ squares as needed for this quilt block.) - Red: Cut TWO (2) 3 3/4″ squares. Then cut the squares diagonally, corner-to-corner, ONE (1) time. You’ll end up with TWO (2) triangles per square. (These will flank the results of the Dark Pink 3 1/2″ squares on one side & the Dark Pink 2 1/2″ squares on the opposite side. As needed for this quilt block.)
