Cutting Requirements for 12″ finished block (scant 1/4″ seam allowance):
- Turquoise: Cut FOUR (4) 2″ squares. (These are paired with the White 2″ squares & will help create the center of this quilt block.)
- Turquoise: Cut TWO (2) 2 3/8″ squares. (These are paired with the Light Turquoise 2 3/8″ squares which will create FOUR (4) Half-Square Triangles. They’ll also help create the center of this quilt block.)
- Light Turquoise: Cut FOUR (4) 2″ squares. (These are paired with the results of the Turquoise 2 3/8″ squares. They’ll also help create the center this quilt block.)
- Light Turquoise: Cut TWO (2) 2 3/8″ squares. On the back side of each square draw a diagonal line, corner-to-corner, ONE (1) time. (These are paired with the Turquoise 2 3/8″ squares which will create FOUR (4) Half-Square Triangles. They’ll also help create the center of this quilt block.)
- Light Turquoise: Cut FOUR (4) 3 1/2″ squares. (These are the FOUR (4) corner’s of this quilt block.)
- Light Turquoise: Cut ONE (1) 7 1/4″ square. Then cut the square diagonally, corner-to-corner, TWO (2) times. You’ll end up with FOUR (4) triangles. (These are flanked by the the results of the White 3 7/8″ squares, which will create FOUR (4) Flying Geese, as needed for this quilt block.)
- White: Cut FOUR (4) 2″ squares. (These are paired with the Turquoise 2″ squares & will help create the center of this quilt block.)
- White: Cut FOUR (4) 3 7/8″ squares. Then cut the squares diagonally, corner-to-corner, ONE (1) time. You’ll end up with TWO (2) triangles per square. (These will flank the results of the Light Turquoise 7 1/4″ squares, which will create FOUR (4) Flying Geese, as needed for this quilt block.)
