Thank you for this octagon pattern! It was exactly what I was looking for to make a quilt for my 37 year old son. He did fight amateur MMA and I wanted the octagon to symbolize the fight ring. It went together easily and I loved the secondary star pattern that developed! He chose blue as his color (his favorite) and orange for a complimentary color. I found a vintage light blue from 1999 with “The Rock” on it for the octagon. It turned out great and I know he will love it too. Thanks again! I have pictures I wish I could share as well.
Hi Sharon! I’m glad that I could provide you with the perfect quilt block for your son’s quilt! That makes my heart happy! I don’t really have the space to share pictures on my blog. Sorry about that. Although I’d love to see what his quilt looks like! I’ll send you an email so you know my email address. Then you can send me your photos after that!
