Domino Quilt Block
Cutting Requirements for 12″ finished block (scant 1/4″ seam allowance):
- Blue: Cut TWELVE (12) 2 7/8″ squares. (FOUR (4) of these will be the FOUR (4) corners of this quilt block. The remaining EIGHT (8) of these are paired with a White 2 7/8″ square, which will create a Nine-Patch, in the center of this quilt block.)
- Blue: Cut FOUR (4) 3 1/4″ squares. (These are be paired with the White 3 1/4″ squares, which will create EIGHT (8) Half-Square Triangles, as needed for this quilt block.)
- White: Cut FIVE (5) 2 7/8″ squares. (ONE (1) of these squares will be the center of this quilt block. It’ll be paired with the Blue 2 7/8″ squares which will create ONE (1) Nine-Patch. The remaining FOUR (4) of these squares are flanked by the Half-Square Triangles as needed for this quilt block.)
- White: Cut FOUR (4) 3 1/4″ squares. On the back side the squares draw a diagonal line, corner-to-corner, ONE (1) time. (These are be paired with the Blue 3 1/4″ squares, which will create EIGHT (8) Half-Square Triangles, as needed for this quilt block.)

If you make TWELVE (12) “Domino Quilt Blocks,” you will end up with the quilt top pictured above. The size will be 36″ x 48″ finished, 36 1/2″ x 48 1/2″ unfinished.
