Cutting Requirements for 12″ finished block (scant 1/4″ seam allowance):
- Orange: Cut FIVE (5) 2 7/8″ squares. (These are paired with the White 2 7/8″ squares. ONE (1) of these squares will be the center of this quilt block. The rest of them will create the vertical & horizontal centers of this quilt block.)
- Yellow: Cut TWO (2) 5 5/8″ squares. (These are paired with the White 5 5/8″ squares which will create FOUR (4) Half-Square Triangles. They’ll also help create the FOUR (4) corners of this quilt block.)
- White: Cut FOUR (4) 2 7/8″ squares. These are paired with the Orange 2 7/8″ squares as needed for the vertical & horizontal centers of this quilt block.)
- White: Cut TWO (2) 5 5/8″ squares. On the back side of each square draw a diagonal line, corner-to-corner, ONE (1) time. (These are paired with the Yellow 5 5/8″ squares which will create FOUR (4) Half-Square Triangles. They’re also the FOUR (4) corners of this quilt block.)
