Cutting Requirements for 12″ finished block (scant 1/4″ seam allowance):

  • Rust: Cut FOUR (4) 4 1/2″ squares. (These are paired with the results of the White 2 7/8″ squares as needed for this quilt block.)
  • Peach: Cut FIVE (5) 3 3/8″ squares. (These are flanked by the results of the White 2 7/8″ squares which will create FOUR (4) Square in a Squares. They’ll also be the FOUR (4) corners of this quilt block.)
  • White: Cut TEN (10) 2 7/8″ squares. Then cut the squares diagonally, corner-to-corner, ONE (1) time. You’ll end up with TWO (2) triangles per square. (These will flank the Peach 3 3/8″ squares, which will create FOUR (4) Square in a Squares. They’ll also be the FOUR (4) corners of this quilt block.)

Four Crown Quilt Block

Cutting Requirements for 12″ finished block (scant 1/4″ seam allowance):

  • Green: Cut FOUR (4) 2 1/2″ squares. (These are the FOUR (4) corners of this quilt block. They’re paired with the White 2 1/2″ squares.)
  • Green: Cut TWO (2) 4 7/8″ squares. Then cut the squares diagonally, corner-to-corner, ONE (1) time. You’ll end up with TWO (2) triangles per square. (These will flank the results of the White 5 1/4″ square which will create ONE (1) Square in a Square, as needed for this quilt block.)
  • Lt. Green: Cut ONE (1) 4 1/2″ square. (This is the center of this quilt block. It’s flanked by the results of the White 5 1/4″ square which will create ONE (1) Square in a Square.)
  • Lt. Green: Cut FOUR (4) 2 7/8″ squares. Then cut the squares diagonally, corner-to-corner, ONE (1) time. You’ll end up with TWO (2) triangles per square. (These will flank the results of the White 5 1/4″ square, which will create FOUR (4) Flying Geese, as needed for this quilt block.)
  • White: Cut EIGHT (8) 2 1/2″ squares. (These are paired with the Green 2 1/2″ squares. They’ll help create the FOUR (4) corners of this quilt block.)
  • White: Cut ONE (1) 5 1/4″ square. Then cut the square diagonally, corner-to-corner, TWO (2) times. You’ll end up with FOUR (4) triangles. (These are flanked by the results of the Lt. Green 2 7/8″ squares, which will create FOUR (4) Flying Geese, as needed for this quilt block.)
  • White: Cut ONE (1) 5 1/4″ square. Then cut the square diagonally, corner-to-corner, TWO (2) times. You’ll end up with FOUR (4) triangles. (These will flank the Lt. Green 4 1/2″ square, which will create ONE (1) Square in a Square, as needed for this quilt block.)

  • White: Cut ONE (1) 5 1/4″ square. Then cut the square diagonally, corner-to-corner, TWO (2) times. You’ll end up with FOUR (4) triangles. (These are flanked by the results of the Lt. Blue
    2 7/8″ squares, which will create FOUR (4) Flying Geese, as needed for this quilt block.)

Cutting Requirements for 12″ finished block (scant 1/4″ seam allowance):

  • Lt. Green: Cut FOUR (4) 4 1/2″ squares. (These are paired with the results of the White 4 7/8″ squares as needed for this quilt block.
  • Green: Cut FOUR (4) 2 1/2″ squares. (These are the FOUR (4) corners of this quilt block. They’re flanked by the results of the White 3 1/4″ squares.)
  • Green: Cut TWO (2) 3 1/4″ squares. Then cut the squares diagonally, corner-to-corner, ONE (1) time. You’ll end up with TWO (2) triangles per square. (These are paired with the Lt. Green 4 1/2″ squares. They’ll also be paired with the results of the White 3 1/4″ squares which will help create the FOUR (4) corners of this quilt block.)
  • Green: Cut ONE (1) 3 7/8″ squares. Then cut the square diagonally, corner-to-corner, ONE (1) time. You’ll end up with TWO (2) triangles. (These are paired with the White 1 7/8″ squares & the White 1 7/8″ x 4 1/2″ rectangle. They’ll also help create the center of this quilt block.)
  • White: Cut TWO 1 7/8″ squares. On the back side, draw a diagonal line, corner-to-corner, ONE (1) time. (These are paired with the White 1 7/8″ x 4 1/2″ rectangle which will create TWO (2) Snowball Corners. They’ll also help create the center of this quilt block.)
  • White: Cut ONE (1) White 1 7/8″ x 4 1/2″ rectangle. (This is paired with the results of the White 1 7/8″ squares which will create TWO (2) Snowball Corners. They’ll also help create the center of this quilt block.)
  • White: Cut TWO (2) 4 7/8″ squares.Then cut the squares diagonally, corner-to-corner, ONE (1) time. You’ll end up with TWO (2) triangles per square. (These are paired with the Lt. Green 4 1/2″ squares. They’ll also be flanked by the results of the White 3 1/4″ squares. Which will help create the FOUR (4) corners of this quilt block.)
  • White: Cut TWO (2) 3 1/4″ squares. Then cut the square diagonally, corner-to-corner, TWO (2) times. You’ll end up with FOUR (4) triangles. (These are paired with the Green 3 1/4″ squares & the results of the White 4 7/8″ squares. They’ll also help create the FOUR (4) corners of this quilt block.)

  • Yellow: Cut FOUR (4) 3 7/8″ squares. Then cut each square diagonally, corner-to-corner, ONE (1) time. You will end up with TWO (2) triangles per square. (These are flanked by the results of the Green 7 1/4″ squares, which will create FOUR (4) Flying Geese, as needed for this quilt block.)
  • Green: Cut SIXTEEN (16) 2″ squares. (These are paired with the White 2″ squares which will create a Sixteen-Patch. They’ll also help create the center of this quilt block.)
  • Green: Cut ONE (1) 7 1/4″ square. Then cut the square diagonally, corner-to-corner, TWO (2) times. You will end up with FOUR (4) triangles. (These are flanked by the results of the Yellow 3 7/8″ squares,
