Cutting Requirements for 12″ finished block (scant 1/4″ seam allowance):

  • Yellow: Cut FOUR (4) 2 1/2″ squares. (These are paired on ONE (1) side with the Gray 2 1/2″ squares & on ONE (1) other side they’re paired with the White 2 1/2″ x 4 1/2″ rectangles, as needed for this quilt block.)
  • Yellow: Cut FOUR (4) 2 1/2″ x 4 1/2″ rectangles. (These are paired on TWO (2) sides with the Gray 2 1/2″ x 4 1/2″ rectangles as needed for this quilt block.)
  • Gray: Cut FOUR (4) 2 1/2″ squares. (These are paired on ONE (1) side by the Yellow 2 1/2″ squares & on ONE (1) other side by the Gray 2 1/2″ x 4 1/2″ rectangles, as needed for this quilt block.)
  • Gray: Cut FOUR (4) 2 1/2″ x 4 1/2″ rectangles. (These are paired on ONE (1) side with the Yellow 2 1/2″ x 4 1/2″ rectangles. They’ll also be the FOUR (4) corner’s of this quilt block.)
  • White: Cut TWO (2) 2 1/2″ x 4 1/2″ rectangles. (These are paired on TWO (2) sides with the Yellow 2 1/2″ squares as needed for this quilt block.)
  • White: Cut ONE (1) 4 1/2″ x 8 1/2″ rectangle. (This is the center of this quilt block.)

Cutting Requirements for 12″ finished block (scant 1/4″ seam allowance):

  • Light Blue: Cut TWO (2) 3 1/2″ squares. (These are paired with the Yellow 3 1/2″ squares, which will create ONE (1) Four-Patch, they’ll also be the center of this quilt block.)
  • White: Cut FOUR (2) 3 1/2″ squares. (These will be the FOUR (4) corner’s of this quilt block.)
  • Yellow: Cut TWO (2) 3 1/2″ squares. (These are paired with the Light Blue 3 1/2″ squares, which will create ONE (1) Four-Patch, they’ll also be the center of this quilt block.)
  • Yellow: Cut TWO (2) 3 7/8″ squares. (These are paired with the Medium Blue 3 7/8″ squares, which will create FOUR (4) Half-Square Triangles, as needed for this quilt block.)
  • Medium Blue: Cut TWO (2) 3 7/8″ squares. On the back side of each square draw a diagonal line, corner-to-corner, ONE (1) time. (These are paired with the Yellow 3 7/8″ squares, which will create FOUR (4) Half-Square Triangles, as needed for this quilt block.)
  • Medium Blue: Cut TWO (2) 3 7/8″ squares. On the back side of each square draw a diagonal line, corner-to-corner, ONE (1) time. (These are paired with the Dark Blue 3 7/8″ squares, which will create FOUR (4) Half-Square Triangles, as needed for this quilt block.)
  • Dark Blue: Cut TWO (2) 3 7/8″ squares. (These will be paired with the Medium Blue 3 3/4″ squares, which will create FOUR (4) Half-Square Triangles, as needed for this quilt block.)

  • Light Peach: Cut TWO (2) 3 1/2″ squares. (These are paired with the Peach 3 1/2″ squares, which will create ONE (1) Four-Patch, they’ll also be the center of this quilt block.)
  • Light Peach: Cut TWO (2) 3 7/8″ squares. Then cut the squares diagonally, corner-to-corner, ONE (1) time. You’ll end up with TWO (2) triangles per square. (These are paired with the results of the Peach 4 1/4″ squares & the results of the Light Turquoise 4 1/4″ squares. Which will create FOUR (4) Split Quarter Half-Square Triangles as needed for this quilt block.)
  • Peach: Cut TWO (2) 3 1/2″ squares. (These are paired with the Light Peach 3 1/2″ squares, which will create ONE (1) Four-Patch, they’ll also be the center of this quilt block.)
  • Peach: Cut ONE (1) 4 1/4″ square. Then cut the square diagonally, corner-to-corner, TWO (2) times. You’ll end up with FOUR (4) triangles. (These are paired with the results of the Light Turquoise 4 1/4″ squares & the Light Peach 3 7/8″ squares. Which will create FOUR (4) Split Quarter Half-Square Triangles as needed for this quilt block.)
  • Peach: Cut ONE (1) 4 1/4″ square. Then cut the square diagonally, corner-to-corner, TWO (2) times. You’ll end up with FOUR (4) triangles. (These are paired with the results of the Light Turquoise 4 1/4″ squares & the Turquoise 3 7/8″ squares. Which will create FOUR (4) Split Quarter Half-Square Triangles as needed for this quilt block.)
  • Light Turquoise: Cut ONE (1) 4 1/4″ square. Then cut the square diagonally, corner-to-corner, TWO (2) times. You’ll end up with FOUR (4) triangles. (These are paired with the results of the Peach 4 1/4″ squares & the Light Peach 3 7/8″ squares. Which will create FOUR (4) Split Quarter Half-Square Triangles as needed for this quilt block.)
  • Light Turquoise: Cut ONE (1) 4 1/4″ square. Then cut the square diagonally, corner-to-corner, TWO (2) times. You’ll end up with FOUR (4) triangles. (These are paired with the results of the Peach 4 1/4″ squares & the Turquoise 3 7/8″ squares. Which will create FOUR (4) Split Quarter Half-Square Triangles as needed for this quilt block.)
  • Turquoise: Cut (2) 3 7/8″ squares. (These are paired with the results of the Peach 4 1/4″ squares & the results of the Light Turquoise 4 1/4″ squares. Which will create FOUR (4) Split Quarter Half-Square Triangles as needed for this quilt block.)

Cutting Requirements for 12″ finished block (scant 1/4″ seam allowance):

  • Red: Cut ONE (1) 3 3/8″ square. (This is flanked by the results of the Yellow 2 7/8″ squares, which will create ONE (1) Square in a Square. It’ll also be the center of this quilt block.)
  • Red: Cut TWO (2) 2 7/8″ squares. (These are paired with the White 2 7/8″ squares, which will create FOUR (4) Half-Square Triangles, as needed for this quilt block.)
  • Red: Cut TWO (2) 5 1/4″ squares. Then cut the squares diagonally, corner-to-corner, TWO (2) time. You’ll end up with FOUR (4) triangles per square. (These are flanked by the results of White 2 7/8″ squares, which will create EIGHT (8) Flying Geese, as needed for this quilt block.)
  • Yellow: Cut TWO (2) 2 7/8″ squares. Then cut the squares diagonally, corner-to-corner, ONE (1) time. You’ll end up with TWO (2) triangles per square. (These will flank the flank the Red
    3 3/8″ square, which will create ONE (1) Square in a Square. They’ll also help create the center of this quilt block.)
  • Yellow: Cut ONE (1) 5 1/4″ square. Then cut the square diagonally, corner-to-corner, ONE (1) time. You’ll end up with FOUR (4) triangles. (These are flanked by the results of White 2 7/8″ squares, which will create FOUR (4) Flying Geese, as needed for this quilt block.)
  • White: Cut FOUR (4) 2 1/2″ squares. (These are flanked on TWO (2) sides by the results of the White 2 7/8″ squares as needed for this quilt block.)
  • White: Cut TWO (2) 2 7/8″ squares. On the back side the square draw a diagonal line, corner-to-corner, ONE (1) time. (These are paired with the Red 2 7/8″ squares, which will create FOUR (4) Half-Square Triangles, as needed for this quilt block.
  • White: Cut EIGHT (8) 2 7/8″ squares. Then cut the squares diagonally, corner-to-corner, ONE (1) time. You’ll end up with TWO (2) triangles per square. (These will flank the results of the Red 5 1/4″ squares, which will create EIGHT (8)  Flying Geese, as needed for this quilt block.)
  • White: Cut FOUR (4) 2 7/8″ squares. Then cut the squares diagonally, corner-to-corner, ONE (1) time. You’ll end up with TWO (2) triangles per square. (These will flank the results of the Yellow 5 1/4″ squares, which will create EIGHT (8)  Flying Geese, as needed for this quilt block.)

Cutting Requirements for 12″ finished block (scant 1/4″ seam allowance):

  • Purple: Cut ONE (1) 7 1/4″ square. Then cut each square diagonally, corner-to-corner, TWO (2) times. You’ll end up with FOUR (4) triangles. (These are flanked by the results of the White 4 1/4″ squares & the results of the Blue 4 1/4″ squares. Which will create FOUR (4) Flying Geese as is needed for this quilt block.)
  • Purple: Cut ONE (1) 3 7/8″ square. Then cut the square diagonally, corner-to-corner, ONE (1) time. You’ll end up with TWO (2) triangles. (This is paired with the results of the White 3 7/8″ square. Which will create ONE (1) Quarter-Square Triangle. It’ll also be the center of this quilt block.)
  • Blue: Cut TWO (2) 4 1/4″ squares. Then cut each square diagonally corner-to-corner, TWO (2) times. You’ll end up with FOUR (4) triangles per square. (These are paired with the results of the White 4 1/4″ squares & will flank the results of the Purple 7 1/4″ squares. Which will create FOUR (4) Flying Geese as is needed for this quilt block.)
  • Blue: Cut TWO (2) 3 7/8″ squares. Then cut each square diagonally, corner-to-corner, TWO (2) times. You’ll end up with TWO (2) triangles per square. (These will flank the results of the Purple 3 7/8″ square & the results of the White 3 7/8″ square. Which will create ONE (1) Square in a Square. It’ll also help create the center of this quilt block.)
  • White: Cut FOUR (4) 3 1/2″ squares. (These are the FOUR (4) corner’s of this quilt block.)
  • White: Cut TWO (2) 4 1/4″ squares. Then cut each square diagonally, corner-to-corner, TWO (2) times. You will end up with FOUR (4) triangles per square. (These are paired with the results of the Blue 4 1/4″ squares & will flank the results of the Purple 7 1/4″ squares. Which will create FOUR (4) Flying Geese as is needed for this quilt block.)
