Cutting Requirements for 12″ finished block (scant 1/4″ seam allowance):

• Green: Cut EIGHT (8) 2 1/2″ squares. (These are paired with the White 2 1/2″ squares which will create FOUR (4) Four-Patches. They will also be the FOUR (4) corners of this quilt block.)
• Green: Cut TWO (2) 4 7/8″ squares. (These are paired with the White 4 7/8″ square, which will create FOUR (4) Half-Square Triangles.)
• White: Cut EIGHT (8) 2 1/2″ squares. (These are paired with the Green 2 1/2″ squares which will create FOUR (4) Four-Patches. They will also be the FOUR (4) corners of this quilt block as needed to sew it together.)
• White: Cut TWO (2) 4 7/8″ squares. On the back side of the squares draw a diagonal line, corner-to-corner, ONE (1) time. (These are paired with the Green 4 7/8″ square, which will create FOUR (4) Half-Square Triangles.)
• White: Cut ONE (1) 4 1/2″ square. (This is the center of this quilt block.)
