Quilted Kitchen: Peach Cobbler Quilt Block & Peach Cobbler Recipe

Peach Cobbler Quilt Block Free Pattern for a 12" quilt block at QuiltTherapy.com!Peach Cobbler Quilt Block

Cutting Requirements for 12″ finished block (scant 1/4″ seam allowance):

  • Ecru: Cut TWO (2) 4 7/8″ squares. On the back side of the squares draw a diagonal line, corner-to-corner, ONE (1) time. (These are paired with the Tan 4 7/8″ squares, and will create FOUR (4) Half-Square Triangles, as needed for this quilt block.)
  • Tan: Cut TWO (2) 4 7/8″ squares. (These are paired with the Ecru 4 7/8″ squares, and will create FOUR (4) Half-Square Triangles, as needed for this quilt block.)
  • Light Peach: Cut SIX (6) 2 7/8″ squares. Then cut the squares diagonally, corner-to-corner, ONE (1) time. You will end up with TWO (2) triangles per square. (These will flank THREE (3) sides of the Peach 3 3/8″ squares, which will create FOUR (4) Square in a Square’s, as needed for this quilt block.)
  • Ash Green: Cut TWO (2) 2 7/8″ squares. Then cut the squares diagonally, corner-to-corner, ONE (1) time. You will end up with TWO (2) triangles per square. (These will flank the remaining side of the Peach 3 3/8″ squares, which will create FOUR (4) Square in a Square’s, as needed for this quilt block.)
  • Peach: Cut ONE (1) 4 1/2″ square. (This will be the center of this quilt block.)
  • Peach: Cut FOUR (4) 3 3/8″ squares. (These will be flanked on THREE (3) sides by the results of the Light Peach 2 7/8″ squares and on the remaining side by the results of the Ash Green
    2 7/8″ squares, which will create FOUR (4) Square in a Square’s, as needed for this quilt block.)

Cutting Requirements for 12″ finished block (scant 1/4″ seam allowance):

  • Red: Cut FOUR (4) 4 1/2″ squares. (These will be the FOUR (4) corners of this quilt block.

Cutting Requirements for 12″ finished block (scant 1/4″ seam allowance):

  • Blue: Cut FOUR (4) 4 1/2″ squares. (These will be used on all FOUR (4) corners of this quilt block.)
  • Blue: Cut TWO (2) 5 1/4″ squares. Then cut the square diagonally, corner-to-corner, TWO (2) times. You will end up with FOUR (4) triangles. You only need SIX (6) of these triangles for this quilt block. (These will be paired with the results of the White 5 1/4″ squares, to created THREE (3) Quarter-Square Triangles, as needed for this quilt block.)
  • White: Cut TWO (2) 4 1/2″ squares. (These will be flanked on two sides, by the Blue 4 1/2″ squares, as needed for this quilt block.)
  • White: Cut TWO (2) 5 1/4″ squares. Then cut the square diagonally, corner-to-corner, TWO (2) times. You will end up with FOUR (4) triangles. You only need SIX (6) of these triangles for this quilt block.
