Christmas Star Quilt Block Free Pattern at QuiltTherapy.com!

Christmas Star Quilt Block




Cutting Requirements for 12″ finished block (precise 1/4″ seam allowance):

  • Light Green: Cut ONE (1) 3 1/2″ square.
  • Light Green: Cut FOUR (4) 2 1/4″ squares. Then cut the squares diagonally, corner-to-corner, ONE (1) time. You will end up with TWO (2) triangles per square.
  • Ash Green: Cut FOUR (4) 2″ squares.
  • Ash Green: Cut FOUR (4) 2 1/4″ squares. On the back side of each square draw a diagonal line, corner-to-corner, ONE (1) time.
  • Ash Green: Cut FOUR (4) 2 1/4″ squares. Then cut the squares diagonally, corner-to-corner, ONE (1) time. You will end up with TWO (2) triangles per square.
  • Ash Green: Cut ONE (1) 4 1/4″ square. Then cut the square diagonally, corner-to-corner, ONE (1) time. You will end up with FOUR (4) triangles. (These are for the Flying Geese.)
  • Christmas Green: Cut FOUR (4) 2″ squares.
  • Christmas Green: Cut FOUR (4) 2 1/4″ squares. On the back side of each square draw a diagonal line, corner-to-corner, ONE (1) time.
  • Christmas Green: Cut FOUR (4) 2 1/4″ squares. Then cut the squares diagonally, corner-to-corner, ONE (1) time. You will end up with TWO (2) triangles per square.
  • Christmas Green: Cut ONE (1) 4 1/4″ square. Then cut the square diagonally, corner-to-corner, ONE (1) time. You will end up with FOUR (4) triangles. (These are for the flying geese.)
  • White: Cut TWELVE (12) 2″ squares.
  • White: Cut FOUR (4) 2 1/4″ squares. (These will be paired with the FOUR (4) Ash Green 2 1/4″ squares to create half-square triangles.)
  • White: Cut FOUR (4) 2 1/4″ squares. (These will be paired with the FOUR (4) Christmas Green 2 1/4″ squares to create half-square triangles.)
  • White: Cut ONE (1) 4 1/4″ square. Then cut the square diagonally, corner-to-corner, ONE (1) time. You will end up with FOUR (4) triangles. (These are for the flying geese.)
