Cutting Requirements for 12″ finished block (precise 1/4″ seam allowance):

  • Blue: Cut FOUR (4) 3 1/2″ squares.
  • Blue: Cut FOUR (4) 3 3/4″ squares. On the back side of each square, draw a diagonal line, corner-to-corner, ONE (1) time.
  • White: Cut FOUR (4) 3 1/2″ squares.
  • White: Cut FOUR (4) 3 3/4″

Cutting Requirements for 12″ finished block (precise 1/4″ seam allowance):

  • FIVE (5) Colors: Cut each colored scrappy fabric at 2 3/4″ squares. On the back side of each square, draw a diagonal line, corner-to-corner, ONE (1) time.
  • TEN (10) Colors: Cut TWO (2) of each colored scrappy fabric at 2 1/2″ squares.
  • White: Cut TWO (2) 2 3/4″ squares.
  • White: Cut ONE (1) 6 3/4″ square. Then cut the square diagonally, corner-to-corner, ONE (1) time. You will end up with TWO (2) triangles.

Cutting Requirements for 12″ finished block (precise 1/4″ seam allowance):

  • Blue: Cut ONE (1) 4 1/4″ square. Then cut the square diagonally, corner-to-corner, TWO (2) times. You will end up with FOUR (4) triangles.
  • Red: Cut EIGHT (8) 1 1/2″ x 6 1/2″ strips.
  • White: Cut ONE (1) 4 1/4″ square. Then cut the square diagonally, corner-to-corner, TWO (2) times. You will end up with FOUR (4) triangles.
  • White: Cut SIX (6) 1 1/2″ x 6 1/2″ strips.
  • White: Cut ONE (1) 6 1/2″ square.
  • White: Cut TWO (2) 3 3/4″ squares. Then cut each square diagonally, corner-to-corner, ONE (1) time. You will end up with TWO (2) triangles per square.

  • Blue: Cut FOUR (4) 2″ squares.
