“New Bohemian Quilt” Free Quilt Pattern designed by Sarah Laws from Camelot Fabrics
“Farm Stand Quilt” Free Quilt Pattern designed by Anne Sullivan of Play Crafts from Camelot Fabrics
This quilt was designed using Quilt Pink II fabric from Moda in 2007. This fabric line no longer available but there are many pink fabrics available now that can be used. My motivation behind the quilt design was to honor my my mother-in-law, who is a breast cancer survivor. “TT Pinkie Promise” is a beginner-friendly baby quilt pattern to honor your pinkie promise to those known and unknown women who have fought the breast cancer fight.

My 2015 block of the month quilt for BOMquilts.com has been designed and I have the fabric for it, sponsored by Abbi May’s Fabric Shop. All I’m lacking is the super-de-dupter Aurifil thread to reach me from Italy. I am excited about this new design and will have it made before the BOM even starts in January 2015. The fabric is from the Veracruz line and it is bright and bold – just perfect for this quilt project!
I merged some modern block designs with some tried-and-true classic block designs to create “Modern Framed Classics.” Here are a couple of photos of the blocks:

When I design a quilt project, I have to see the fabrics and let them talk to me. There are variables that are necessary, that have to be taken into consideration…such as the target audience (beginning quilters vs. advanced quilters), the size of a quilt project, etc. I will usually go through my own personal block library to see if anything feels right for the fabric and if not, I will design what I feel will work the best.
In the latest request, the online quilt shop owner of LoveQuilting.com asked that I design a quick and simple table topper out of Christmas fabrics. She wanted it extremely beginner friendly, which meant no half square triangles or any triangles at all. No applique. No sew-n-slash. Plain and simple…allowing the fabrics to truly be the centerpiece of this table topper.
I believe I was successful – melding her fabrics and requirements with my own eye for color and design! Allow me to introduce:

The fabrics in this table topper kit are SO rich! I think it would be ideal if you add a touch of evergreen scent to the table topper when it is finished, because that is exactly what this table topper embodies!
