Cutting Requirements for 12″ finished block (precise 1/4″ seam allowance):
- Pink: Cut TWO (2) 6 1/2″ squares. (These are paired with the Black 3 1/2″ squares, which will create TWO (2) Snowball Corners, for this quilt block.)
- White: Cut TWO (2) 6 1/2″ squares. (These are paired with the Black 3 1/2″ squares, which will create TWO (2) Snowball Corners, for this quilt block.)
- Black: Cut FOUR (4) 3 1/2″ squares. On the back side of each square draw a diagonal line, corner-to-corner, ONE (1) time. (TWO (2) of these are paired with the Pink 6 1/2″ squares & the other TWO (2) are paired with the White 6 1/2″ squares. All together they’ll create FOUR (4) Square in a Square’s for this quilt block.)

If you make TWELVE (12) “Bowtie Quilt Blocks,” you’ll end up with the quilt top pictured above. The size will be 36″ x 48″ finished, 36 1/2″ x 48 1/2″ unfinished.
