Strawberry Patch Quilt Block

Cutting Requirements for 12″ finished block (scant 1/4″ seam allowance):

• Dark Green:  Cut ONE (1) 4 7/8″ square. (This will be paired with the Medium Green 4 7/8″ square to create TWO (2) Half-Square Triangles as needed for this quilt block.)
• Dark Green:  Cut ONE (1) 5 1/4″ square.  Then cut this square diagonally, corner-to-corner, TWO (2 times).  You will end up with FOUR (4) triangles. (These will be paired with the results of the Light Green 5 1/4″ squares. TWO (2) of them will create TWO (2) Quarter-Square Triangles as needed for this quilt block.)
• Medium Green:  Cut ONE (1) 4 7/8″ squares.  On the back side of the square, draw a diagonal line, corner-to-corner, ONE (1) time. (This will be paired with the Dark Green 4 7/8″ square to create TWO (2) Half-Square Triangles as needed for this quilt block.)
• Medium Green:  Cut ONE (1) 5 1/4″ square.  Then cut this square diagonally, corner-to-corner, TWO (2 times).  You will end up with FOUR (4) triangles.  You only need TWO (2) of these triangles for a single block. (Both of these triangles will be paired with the results of the Light Green 5 1/4″ squares to create TWO (2) Quarter-Square Triangles as needed for this quilt block.)
• Light Green:  Cut TWO (2) 5 1/4″ squares.  Then cut each square diagonally, corner-to-corner, TWO (2 times).  You will end up with FOUR (4) triangles per square.  You only need SIX (6) of these triangles for a single block. (FOUR (4) of these triangles will be paired with the results of the Dark Green 5 1/4″ square on ONE (1) side and the results of the Medium Green 5 1/4″ square on the other side, to create TWO (2) Quarter-Square Triangles, as needed for this quilt block.)
• White:  Cut TWO (2) 2 1/2″ squares. (These will be paired with the Red 2 1/2″ squares to create the Four-Patch in the center of this quilt block.)
• Red:  Cut TWO (2) 2 1/2″ squares. (These will be paired with the Red 2 1/2″ squares to create the Four-Patch in the center of this quilt block.)
• Red:  Cut TWO (2) 4 1/2″ squares. (These will be used at TWO (2) corners of this quilt block.)
